Kornabuji Castle

At walking distance of Eagle Gorge sits Kornabuji Castle. It was probably constructed, originally, at the end of the first millennium BCE. The walk there was nice through the outskirts outskirtsof Dedoplistskaro. The castle sits on top of an imposing mountain. A new visitor’s lookout area gives a great view of the castle. We also wanted to see if we could climb to the top. We got quite far before we turned around. The track led us over a narrow ledge with an over 5m drop right next to it. We did not want to risk it. Still a nice hike.
