On those 3rd gen try removing the guage glass and flick each needle back and fourth a few times Most of them will start working again. With power on engine running
I have the '92 Z28 instrument panel gauge setup. Your video looks like its for '88 IROCs and the like. My speedometer works but the tach sweeps all the way and jams to the right. Please advise. Great video instructional sir!

Thanks for letting me and others know. I’ve never tried that. I did the ol thump on the outside of it trick but didn’t remove the plastic.

I would say you have the same problem as mine. The circuit board is bad and or the wire running from the distributor is grounded.
Mine stops working along with the oil pressure gauge when I turn the lights on
