Who applies to 122 schools?
People who have no low chance of getting accepted at most universities not this guy
He applied to 150 schools, but got about 30 rejections. I think it's fine that he applied to more than 30. These schools have waiting lists. The spots available will get filled with someone.
How much were those application admission fees? each of them aren’t really cheap… to read each application is time consuming
Incredible ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ so proud.
I’m curious what his SAT score was. That’s a good determining factor of someone’s readiness for college.
all the boxes were checked
Well Done !!
He is lying for the cameras, they are not completed applications.
4.15 - 4.30gpa is middle of the road for Berkley.
weighted GPA is not given much consideration for admissions at most universities (especially since some of the most prestigious high schools in the US don't even offer AP courses)
Lovely! ❤
At least the kid and family appreciate the opportunity 👌
Unpopular opinion - While this is an accomplishment, I hope this doesn't become a trend. So here's the thing - schools only accept so many students so ultimately you can be displacing a lot of students whom have lower chances while having absolutely no want to actually go to some schools they applied to. Let alone all those application fees and extra or neglected hours going through irrelevant applications.

@@ladyofspa Applying to 160 schools is a bit excessive and getting into 122 means you'll turn down 121. So the poster is correct to point this out.
I applied to colleges and universities, they charge an application fee, some $20, $60, and $100 each. He didnt get accepted to all these schools.
application fee waivers exist at almost every college if your family makes under a certain amount of money
He really did. Deal
Applying to 122 schools? Well all UC 1 application will do. But I would imagine he probably get fee waiver....first generation? And all those scholarships / aids? I would imagine that could be due to income threshore / need base? And being certain race also gives you advantage over others such as asian. I've met / personally know of / heard of students who are mediocre in their high school career (
Wasting resources…
Get out while you can!!!!
What a waste of time for schools...
😂😂😂 jealous
It's someone's job to read these applications. They get paid whether he or any other student accept or go elsewhere. It doesn't matter to the schools he doesn't chose, because they all have waiting lists.
He got accepted because of his race.
Yup and the name.
Yeah, 122 times.
Isn't there just 1 race, technically🤔
Please don't slander Law and Order's name that way. 122 times go well beyond race.
@@lolam.5062 Don’t tell them that.
