For the most part if people do it they need to diversify their funds it's the only way they'll be able to survive past their youtube career. This "instability" was basically baked into the job whether or not you knew it, even Graham might not have seen it. You are working for a single individual who is the product, who is the service, and if his goals or focus shifts over time it's going to destabilize things. One thing Graham could have done for you, and still could, is to have given you some air time in front of the camera on his channel and encourage people to follow you, a "lovely parting gift" would have been for him to stand you up as your own operation. Someone with his skills should never go work for someone else. Congrats and Woow didn’t know you did that much and worked on those other channels that’s crazy but still it’s hard work and a long time editing and trust me I know that feeling and I just started my RUclips channel back in October of 2022 and now I’m getting close to 1 million views and I mostly do ai videos but on my free time I just love watching finance videos and real estate and investing and I want to say thank you for letting me watch the videos you help make and congrats on your channel and keep on making new stuff
You helped make grahams channel better and now he’s shafting you. To be honest he’s always been a greedy bastard and trying to save a penny here and there. I know you’re still friends and all but he’s only always looked out for just himself. Leaving is probably the best thing that ever happened to you and now you can get compensated for what you really deserve. Best wishes Alex.
