    Have you tried Legere synthetic reeds. I tried one out about 4 years ago and I don't touch cane now.
    They're consistent, last for ages and aren't affected by humidity at all.
    I use the Legere signature reeds as a jazz saxophonist but the Legere classic maybe better suited for classical musicians ( the thicker tip and heart = more uniform intonation with minimal embouchure adjustment in my judgement) .
