This has been talked about for years. As a matter of fact, the train system proposed to have an express turn on Jamaica Avenue after Broadway Junction East NY. But the community fought it because they wanted stops. Stops are the biggest part of a transit budget.
The Jamaica Line can support Express services. But they are no stations along the section. So proposing a Woodhaven Express station is necessary.

I've been riding the Queens Blvd line and the Jamaica Avenue Elevated since the mid 60's. Yes, I remember the days of the Wooden Myrtle Ave elevated trains rumbling above Myrtle and Broadway. As much as I'd like to see trains once again using the Myrtle Ave El, or some replacement of it, I don't see many of your suggestions here coming to fruition. In my lifetime only one station on the entire subway was eliminated, other than demolishements. That was Dean Street on the Franklin Avenue shuttle. Also, despite what you may have been told, the demolishment of 168th st, 160th st and Sutphin Blvd was extremely unpopular at the time. It was done because the City was broke. While the El was there you had at least 3 department stores ( Gertz, Mays and Macy's ) and two theatres. After the El was torn down, that part of Jamaica Avenue was decimated and is only now coming back to life.
The next point is that skip stop service between 168th st and Eastern Parkway ( now Broadway Junction ) precedes my lifetime and may even go back to the Dual Contracts. It really did work for decades and its only now with all the station construction that it seems redundant.
As for rebuilding the Crescent St - Cypress Hills curve or moving Marcy Avenue to the Williamsburg Bridge viaduct, thats never going to happen. These are historic neighborhoods that have seen very little change for close to a century and are going to have no patience for reconstruction.

While peak direction express may not work the best with a line like the Jamaica Line, especially with stop consolidation, there are ways we could make it work. First we would need to grade separate Myrtle Junction. With M trains no longer crossing over all 3 tracks to get to the Myrtle Avenue Line, the Jamaica peak direction express can now run to Broadway Junction. But then we could go further. Going by Mystic Transit’s proposal to fix the Jamaica Line, the express track can be built as a separate single tracked elevated spur running above Jamaica Avenue where it reconnects at Cypress Hills. After the reconnection, trains on the express tracks would stop at newly converted express stations at Cypress Hills, Woodhaven Boulevard (for a connection to the Q52 and Q53 SBS) and 104th Street (for a transfer to the M if QueensLink gets built). In the final service pattern: J trains would run local along the entirety of the line at all times, while Z trains would run peak direction express on weekdays from the current times, which are between 7 AM and 1 PM towards Manhattan and 1:30 to 8 PM towards Jamaica Center. One other thing: the tracks at Jamaica Center should be extended beyond the station with X switches so that it could more properly turn around more trains per hour, same with the E train tracks on the upper level.

I definitely like this idea with the J line but here’s my take on how we can even get rid of the Cresent St S curve which is not only slow but very noisy. The best way would of course to tear down the el on Fulton St and from there rebuild it along Jamaica Ave which would straighten the J line as well. Stop consolidation would be implemented as well.
The Jamaica Center Problem would need to be addressed as well as by extending the J to 168 St as well as extending the E to Francis Lewis Blvd using the LIRR ROW. This extension of the E would add a new yard built on the Railroad Park which would be converted to a rail yard exclusively for the E. This would allow the E to run 18tph and to accomplish this we would have an implemented F and M swap, so that we can run more E and F Trains, with this this also fixes 8th Ave by having more frequent E Trains on the local tracks to the point where the C Trains moves to the Express tracks, we can also fix CPW that way as well by having the A and C run express as with this plan we won’t have to construct switches and they can continue straight along 8th Ave at better frequencies.
The implementation of chances are as follows
    A/C 8th Ave/CPW Express
    B/D 6th Ave Express/CPW Local
J: Jamaica Center 168th St to Broad St
This also allows the J to be as good as the L and 7 lines which are the most frequent lines in the system.

The next thing is having the E Train going to Rosedale Francis Lewis Blvd to increase its capacity to 18tph.

Here's a thought to improve the Jamaica Line in the long run why not remove the tracks from the Williamsburg Bridge entirely and replace it with a three track tunnel that runs under the Williamsburg Bridge entirely and Broadway with a portal on the parking lot linking the tunnel with the Broadway El.
Build a new-subway-ROW under Jamaica Avenue using the Fulton Street line local tracks with a portal in the vicinity of Cypress Hills Street linking that part of the Jamaica Line with the new subway this would shave off 20 minutes of commute time for those residents. The Crescent Street S curve can now be demolished as that will be redundant with this the J trains would be truncated at Crescent Street allowing for max frequencies 24 TPH on the Bridge running it down the 4th Avenue line and West End which I'll send the J there.
With my new M train to Metropolitan Avenue via Myrtle Ave and to City Hall this will de-interline the J meaning that the J can run 24 TPH on it's own without interfering with the Jamaica Line.
Stop consolidation would come into play as to save more time as well as fixing the curves to save time and the new stops would be more convenient for them. As for the Myrtle Avenue El a new station at Wilson Avenue would replace the Central Avenue and Knickerbocker Avenue Stations with new exits at Wilson Avenue and Central Avenue. Seneca and Forest Avenue would get consolidated with a new station at Onderdonk Avenue with new exits at Onderdonk Avenue and Woodbine Street with these changes even more time would be saved commuting.

My thought and my opinion for the B.M.T. Jamaica Line for the (J)/(Z), the MTA, they should extend the (J)/(Z) Train's to Belmont Park Station to connect LIRR Elmont Station. All Jamaica B.M.T. Lines stations should have 10-Cars platforms and 4 Tracks so that the (J)/(Z) have they're own track. The LIRR should no longer end at Belmont Park Station. Instead have the (J)/(Z) end at Belmont Park Station to connect to LIRR Elmont Station for people to work, event in UBS Arena and race track especially for people that lives in Elmont. After Archer Avenue Station, it should be Merrick Boulevard Station. Brooklyn Manor Station should replace Woodhaven Boulevard and 104th Street Station's to transfer to the Queens Link for the 6th Avenue (M) Train would be excellent idea. The (Z) Train should operate on weekends and to be express service except late nights.

The entire Jamaica Line is messed up and thus full of bottlenecks that really need untangling. Below are the list of things to fix.
-Transform the 3-track line from Essex St to Myrtle Ave into a 4-track line. Essex St has a provision for an eastbound local platform to make it an express station with the exact same layout as both Penn Stations. The Williamsburg Bridge would see a reduction in lanes but it should be less of a problem with Congestion Pricing. As for the current actual 3-track section, the local tracks can run below and the express tracks above due to buildings in the way. They could switch levels at Myrtle Ave.
-Myrtle Ave becomes a bi-level express station with the express tracks on the lower level and the local tracks on the upper level. The now-express lower level retains its 3-track layout due to the below.
-Both lines beyond have a provision for a peak-direction express track. The Myrtle Line until Myrtle-Wyckoff and the Jamaica Line until 121st St. The Jamaica Line can replace its island platforms with side platforms at the ones with the former for a center express track.
-The S-shaped curve should have a station built to replace both stations sandwiching it. That way, trains would slow down getting in and out of a station. It must be an express station, of course.
-Marcy Ave gets relocated over the bus station and becomes a typical express station with two island platforms and four tracks.

I was genuenly baffled whn I first heard of skip stop. It's just such a stupid concept. And add that it express service on double track is perfectly possible. A number of lines in Tokyo (private and metro alike) operate 24 tph or more on double track with various express services.
That does of course require some infrastructure such as in station overtakes but it is perfectly possible.
Quad tracking or separate express lines are of course preferred but if that is not possible there is a way.

I think your consolidation of Norwood/Crescent is a good idea for the speed but I think the Cypress Hills consolidation would be taking a step backwards. Those stations are only a few blocks away from each other and Crescent/Cypress is a heavy residential area. Moving the Crescent station will 100% increase Cypress Hills usage. Moving the Cypress station further AND the Crescent station is going to piss off a lot of people because it’s removing both stations away from Crescent residents.

It's easier to just eliminate the Z and the whole skipstop bullsh*t than Redoing the whole J line. It is Not going to happen. Even though, building a whole new Marcy Ave station over the bus terminal, would be nice and it's a good idear, it's not going to happen.
1: the Williamsburg Bridge does not have the space to accommodate a 3rd track, and you would still have that curve, after the new station to connect to the rest of the line. So building a ne Marcy Ave station would be pointless.
2: Utilizing the abandoned trolly section means Redoing the whole Essex St. station
3: demolishing about 30 properties to straighten a curve?! People live in those properties, so that Ain't going to happen!
4: rerouting the M to the abandoned upper level at Myrtle Ave is just stupid. That section was used for lighter El train cars and most of the structure has been demolished. Because it was deemed a safety hazard.
5: The MTA refused to spend the necessary money to fully renovate Chambers St. Station the right way, due to the fact the MTA claims, "Low ridership on the J line doesn't warrant it" so the MTA is Defiantly Not going to spend the money to redo and renovate the whole J line!

Closing both the Lorimar St. & Hewes St stations to create a new Union Ave station just to connect with the G line is going to be a problem and not going to work. Because the Lorimar St. station is convenient for people to connect with the B48 bus.
I propose instead, close Hewes St station and move/extend the Lorimar St station, closer to Union Ave. While still close enough to connect to the B48 bus and Creating the new Lorimar St/Union Ave. station. Using the space of the 99 cent store and parking lot on the corner to build a new above ground MTA station to connect the G train with a free transfer to the J train at the new Lorimar St/Union Ave station

Since the tracks are shared by J and M trains, J trains would only be able to run about 10 tph, which is not enough to run peak direction express. Skip stop is, and will ALWAYS be a joke!! If you are not taking the Z to the terminals then it’s useless. Especially where I live along this line. For two reasons. 1) Between Chauncey Street and Van Siclen Avenue, it makes every stop. And if you have to get off or on at a J only stop, that’s just more time. And yes, 10 minutes is the wait time. 2) I literally just a few seconds ago ran for a J train at Broadway Junction at this rush hour time and caught it only to realize I can’t get off at my stop.
I like the idea of grade separation at Myrtle Avenue. A Union Avenue station would be great as well.
