    I'm a Miami fan too and this was one of the most embarrassing losses Miami has had in a while. Not only did they disripect the team logo in in pre-game, they got destroyed. I held Coker responsible for not keeping the players in line but hopefully that will change with Coach Shannon.

    Hey Quixtar101 - I guess news travels slow in Lincoln. You do realize this was over TWO years ago and on Coker's watch, not Shannon's. Where is Miami these days and where is Louisville, or Nebraska, for that matter? Go Canes!

  • @gomerjones

    Haha, too bad I'm not a cards fan. I'm so proud that daddy bought you a plane ticket and one for the game so you could go watch it. I've only seen my team's NC games on TV.

    we have been there for the last 5 or so years ever sinve we got robbed vs tosu it was downhill from there.. brian brahm ( spell check ) as a miami dolphin .. what do you think

  • @gomerjones

    Funny how it works how you are the one saying that beating UM is not a big deal, because you know you're not big time anymore.

  • @hovde4
    @hovde4 17 лет назад

    I already said that Miami got embarrassed. Louisville has been beating nearly everyone they play. But that was not crap or disrespectful. They were just getting pumped up. They were not jumping on the bird, just like they don't jump on the U. They were just jumping up and down. No one has ever seen it that way except Louisville.

  • @gomerjones
    @gomerjones 17 лет назад

    Reality: 7 National championships, and NFL first round draft picks don't mean a damn thing. What, you want a ring for most draft picks every year? Just like Mack Brown gets a championship ring for winning the recruiting championship?
    What players did before and after doesn't mean anything.

  • @tywood2022

    no team stops on the card and gets away with it!

  • @hovde4
    @hovde4 17 лет назад

    Miami got embarrased. They got killed. But they were not disrespecting the team logo. They do that every pregame, home and away. They jump on the U and every other field. Only Louisville saw it as disrespect. Even FSU realizes that its just part of their pregame.

    With all due respect to your own hometown talent in that great state of yours,you guys beat us with 19 players from our own backyard. Im not talking about the shit eating positions,skilled positions. Year in & year out,all the teams never really beat us on the field,they beat us in the spring time in recruiting.(true story) But not taking credit away,u guys did a good job. Congrats on the win a day ago aswell.

      except brian brohm and Michael bush are from Louisville. harry Douglas was from Georgia. our d backs. But definitely florida ties, i mean what school doesn't recruit there?

    • @davidisrael2930
      @davidisrael2930 9 лет назад

      Just look at any program that's actually ranked in the top 25 and you'll see how many skilled position players are from south Florida. Its appalling me being from Miami and seeing our program struggle, when all our home players are at Notre Dame Michigan Ohio state etc.

  • @tauras88d

    well that is very true, you cant deny history!

  • @gomerjones
    @gomerjones 17 лет назад

    "though they may not be as big and often..."
    That's the key. Fight after fight after fight. It just doesn't stop. Stomping on the bird? Then getting into a brawl a few weeks later? And having your announcer want to join in? After starting a fight after your previous bowl game? The problem is deep. Spurrier is arrogant. Jordan was arrogant. Miami - thuggs.

  • @ztribble

    ok I have nothing against jumping on a logo if thats what they were doing...most teams do that during pre-game if its home or away. so i donn't get why you would say "jumping on the legendary cardinal head" is so disrespectful. for one when did it become such a legend and no matter what is at midfield thats were teams do the jumping

    You Miami fans talk like a bunch of little kids. Come one, you were 7-6 last year, we were 12-1. It will be at least 3-5 years till we talk U and the national title again. But hey, we were the better team that day and we are thinking BCS title this year.

  • @sniplock
    @sniplock 11 лет назад

    The Cards will meet the "U" again. 2013 bowl game & in the 2014 season.

  • @gomerjones
    @gomerjones 17 лет назад

    They started enough of them not give them the benefit of the doubt. T.O., whether thug mentality or just sheer drama mentality, is a good comparison to Miami. Completely unbalanced distraction from real football. Except TO never does anything bad off the field.

  • @dupac09

    miami - 5 national champs
    louisville - ?

  • @gomerjones
    @gomerjones 17 лет назад

    The program is the problem. The Thug mentality. The absolute lack of class. It runs from the president (her pithy excuses for the brawl last year) to nearly every fan.
