TBH, I thought that with the exception of TACAN steering, the INS heading references (including computer targets/offsets) were true headings, not magnetic headings.
@@grimreapers I didn't learn any of the processes. it just clicked in my head during ground school. I am going off the assumption the solid lines with a slant are the magnetic lines on the map.

1:37 how do u get that menu up?
Armament menu. for me it's LAlt + ' may be diff 4u
Grim Reapers omg thank you sooo much massive fan btw
So all we need to do is set a offset then designate a point. It's nothing to do with IP or other navigation point, right?
correct. IRL the tomcat pilots found the nav IP too inaacurate so they bypassed it straight to WCS, and DCS has modelled that.
How do i set bomb mode on the wing sweep is there a switch??
There is a command for it in Adjust Controls
@@grimreapers thanks
Can this be used with a JTAC and datalink?
Not that I am aware of.
shouldn't it be 6 degrees plus 2 degrees
2 degrees true should be 8 magnetic
it would explain the innacuracy, but I've always been taught -MagVar?

East is least, west is best. Subtract for East, add for west var.
