I'm just starting fly fishing and good to see it's not a trout only sport. Did anyone spot the kid falling into the pond?

Hi Andy. Lovely to see you back. " Vote for Pedro". 😀 I had a flashback to the glory days of Old Ford and Canary Wharf. We've got a load of rivers and lakes here in France. You can fish for trout here and catch and cook on the riverbank. Amazing. You'll be most welcome here if you fancy a break. It's a cheap flight from Stansted to Limoges. Send me an email if you fancy it. 👍🏼 All the best. Colin.

Dry fly fishing for rudd and roach is super fun especially in the evenings when mosquitoes and other bugs are on the surface, caught my record rudd one evening throwing a black gnat at the surfacing fish, weighed 610 grams and was at that time the biggest rudd caught on a fly recorded in my country.
Probably because not so many people target those fish species on flies, mostly trout.

@@TheBudgetAngler Yes I used to fish them a few years back when it was called Henlow Grange, the second lake had some clonking Tench in it before they expanded it, there is a 4th lake there that not many people know about, it has some monsters in but has not been fished for many years, LAA lost it due to an incident and litter, I then joined Shefford and fished the Airman and Broom Lake, Luton AA has some good waters, I used to fish the river Lea at Marford farm for Grayling, Barbel and Carp :)
