- Patch 0.1.2 for Gray Zone Warfare just dropped and with it came 9 QoL additions and 100 fixes...yes 100. It's been 64 days since the game came out and we have a lot to talk about. Let's get into it.

i have about 130hrs in the game and havent finished either tiger bay nor sapphire and im satisfied. im just patiently waiting for laser sights or stuff like that, i really want to keep playing
@@snakesens6016 same here. I have now only tasks in Tiger Bay and it is still fun although it's a little bit hard to get a task done in Tiger Bay in less than one hour.... 🙈🤣

@@elitebasker there's a difference between playable tech demo and playable early access game with some issues. You can't release a game into early access that most people can't play due to huge performance issues and claim "but it's early access". Sure they've been working on it but when it first released its still not acceptable. Early access or not
Riloe made a great video explaining how game became something that it definitely shouldn't be by attracting wrong playerbase.
The ones that are mad that it's not working right is the sameones that would be mad if the game wasn't released yet
Escape from Tarkov is still in "Beta" after several years. It is in a good place now (Unheard edition aside), and it still has a huge player base. I bought into this because I feel it absolutely HAS potential. I'll keep popping in and seeing how it is going but it was an investment for me. I was paying to help the game get to where it needs to be. People back Kickstarter products all the time with delivery of projects potentially years ahead, at the very least we have a game to play here and it will just get better.
I love this game! It made me bite the bullet and retire my old I7 9700 K/2070 super and upgrade to a 7800x3d w/ 4070 ti super. Enjoying GZW with all of its shortcomings and look forward to the potential.
You're gonna love that 4070ti SUPER. I got one and it's one of the best financial decisions I've made

After the update, the game is running great on my full-AMD machine (5800X3D and RX 7800 XT) and clarity is much better. I can actually see the AI bots from a long way out now, and helo rides are no longer a slide show. I've only been playing a month, but my crew is made up of a few players that have been here since it dropped, and they told me how bad it was at launch. Frame-gen is working fine for AMD boxes, as I'm averaging 180fps with FSR on.
This game has soo much potential. That’s the whole point of a alpha you get to play while it develops. I have a blast. And I’d rather get to play it in alpha working through little hiccups, than waiting 6 year to even okay a “finished game
I can tell you this the game is not dead I just came from the game and ran into 3 new people to the game and has been playing with them for about 6 hours and it was a blast to teach them how to play
this is the one of the best game that came out in 2024. they put so much work in it just loot at the details of the environment, in every building..... nothing is empty in this game... they just have to fix the bugs and polish it, add more stuffs that is all they have to do. and already I can name many bug that they fixed and improvements... if we remember few days ago we kill each other in base with grenade now it is fix, there are more LZ, now you can see where the helicopter are going, you can't duplicate stuffs anymore etc etc.... so they are fixing stuffs unlike The day before, Marauders, etc...
So I wasnt losing FPS, BUT!! I was noticing my GPU was getting getting, sitting around 80 degrees. I noticed playing last night its sitting around 60 degrees and I made no changes to my display settings. I feel like thats a win for me!

@@RedBeardMortis I have a EVGA 3090Ti which are known to run a little hotter than others but that was the hottest I’ve ever seen.
This game is pre alpha…most games don’t get tested until alpha or for most beta. So for this game to be in the shape it is now, it is really good. And second, for the people that can’t run it, well that’s going to be the way it is now. With developers having access to unreal 5 engine, games are going to require much more out of your rig…for example look at body cam, amazing looking game, but very taxing on a smaller system. Point is I don’t understand the hate or disappointment from this game, I’m loving it and it’s only going to get better.

I am addicted to this game 😂 ok, sometimes it is difficult to do tasks with the actual problems like rubberbanding or fps drops like hell or you wanna eliminate AI but they swallow a whole mag and you get killed instantly. With the newest options for ads and grafics they have done a big step in the right direction. 👍

i love the game and it runs well with my ryzen 7 5800x and rtx 3060 i get no lag or rubberbanding id rather them fix bug and keep optiizeing it insted of them giving us new things i like watching games grow and so far this game is doing ok
How can you build a house on a poor foundation? I rather have them fix the issues that majority of player have then add more content. Those gamers that are complaining just wanted fully polished AAA game release. Great video

I like the game but until the CPU Extreme high temps are fixed I would avoid at all cost and it's a well known issue

Optimization for a game this big isn't a good excuse for the devs.
Not sure if you made it for them or they made it. But there are plenty of games that look just as good if not better than this game and play 100% more stable and clean. An they have explosions and vehicles and all sorts of stuff happening non stop.
Besides that. The games good. It still needs work but it's for sure come a good way from launch re downloaded it today and have had a lot better experience.
Nah the beginning of your statement is wild. That 100% IS an excuse. This game is running on UE5 and is one of the larger open world maps on the engine. Optimizing something this big takes more work that you realize/are willing to admit.
@@RedBeardMortis Buddy I am a programmer. So it's easier then you know. It's just laziness out of the dev team as well as inexperience. I'm not one to argue but when your right your right. In this case I am right. I think that your a little too attached to the game emotionally to admit that. I also redownloaded it last night just because of you and the patch did nothing. I have a 4090 and a R7 7800x3d still losing frames like crazy the optimization is horrendous still the games laggy even with gig speed wired connection so it's on their end. AI still don't do much but eat ammo to the face and one tap you. The PvP has very little value. The game just isn't good bud.. Vs other games that fall in its realm this is just a poorly optimized EFT knock off and for UE5 the graphics really aren't that stunning either. Simply I believe the games been released too soon. I bought the best edition to help support their team and I hope they pull it together but I don't know if they will anytime soon. There is a lot to fix here. BUT on the other side it could be worse look at Direct Contact's dev he's literally a mess over there cussing people trying to help him fix his game.
