The game sucks... I uninstalled it. Freezes, crashes, FPS drops, janky movement and getting stuck ON EVERYTHING... enemies appearing out of thin air.... whats the point of sneaking if the game can just spawn stuff in front of you all the time. Also if you go offline the game keeps tabs on WATER SUPPLY. Big no no

I think having the AI attack a POI with a large force would be a cool quick time event that would keep the game fresh, maybe even have the enemy AI have different factions like a CIA funded coup. Random heli crashes and suply drops randomly on the map (like scum or dayz) with high tiered enemy AI guarding them would break up the typical gameplay

The enemy faction came and destroyed the deathbots after you and your shit team got yourselves pinned down and killed trying to cross the middle of that valley. Literally the dumbest players ive seen.

Until this video I’ve only seen positive things about the game from other people, but I’ve never been able to really see the appeal of it, since it looks like a sandbox without some quality or feature that will make it stick beyond maybe a successful first few months

pretty sure it going out as alpha not a beta. Hay look at that its back to how alphas use to be, user report problems or bad mechanics.

When I saw this game I thought immediately there is no way the programmers can meet the demands of Forever Winter's amazing artistic vision. I feel like I have seen this story unfold so many times before. You can dream up all kinds of mindblowing game ideas. but you can't dream up an army of amazing programmers, 3d modellers, animators, sound designers and so on. Fun Dog studios website says they are a team of 30 devs, modern games like Baldur's Gate 3 or Space Marine 2 probably have a 500 people dev team. I feel like Fun Dog should make something much smaller in scope. Something that will get people excited about learning more about this incredible world they have dreamt up. And then they can move on from there and make something a little bigger, and then a little bigger. Early access, online multiplayer, hardcore, survival, shooter, that seems like the kiss of death for a small hopeful indie studio with big ideas.

You make some good points and yeah this looks super early and probably shouldn't be put out into the public eye in this state and your criticism is valid BUT trying not to be to negative here just be careful with this if you dont want to see cool games in the future. I do agree tho that is isnt ready for us... yet

I`ts early access beta. What did you expect, final polished release? I personally consider it as a round of public investments. And, contrary to kickstarter, on steam you would be able to refund your investment.

Game was never on my radar and it's disappointing to see so much negativity surrounding the near release of this almost game. I know a game is DOA when BigFryTV is around the corner, that man is scary for a good reason because he's someone who's real tired of games in this state being released for a price. How unfortunate that this game will likely not be game of the month and a half before seeing a serious drop in players (because it won't see players for how "okay" it is) Come time EA release for this game, Road to Vostok demo 2 v2 may be available, I'm definitely going to try that out and see how the quality compares (two obviously different games and perspectives, but one game is being built by a terminator and the other is being built by a dev team)

I think you were being harsh and quite disrespectful. I get it you might be frustrated but it does seem as if the devs actually put some effort in. Maybe less cursing and a change of tone (this is coming from someone who has at least one no no word in each sentence). Also when you were talking about the drones…. You went out into the open without looking around and didn’t attempt to get any overhead cover. That coupled with complaining it’s impossible to get away from was odd. Lastly it’s early access, yea people are fed up with the EA bs and so am I but if I feel there is potential fuck it I’m buy into it. But you also have to understand it’s early access. That means THERE WILL BE ISSUES. If you want a fully completed game buy one then have the cursing and attitude you had in this video on that one!

It's crazy how delusional you all are and use to games saying EA when it's more of a beta or an excuse to have the issues it does. Games that are truly in EA play like this. This is very early EA. Internal Fortnite EA, Siege EA. Dude Siege EA played and looked like a roblox mod in it's EA. And it was $50 and a AAA with a budget.. This was a 4 man team and recently 20 now and no funding. It's only for the people that want to get in early AF. The money literally goes toward more people and salaries.

This game doesn't release 24th of september it comes into early access on that day for people to buy to alpha test the game and put their 2 cents into the development so by the time of the release the game is on par with what people want/expect and not completely seperate idea so yeah there will be incomplete parts to the game and ground breaking bugs that is what happens in an early access game it literally explains this all to you on steam when you download an early access game but you will usually get the game at large discount as a trade off for instance the game rust when it first entered early access it cost me 10-15 usd now its like near 40 usd because it is a feature complete product you get angry when the game is not feature complete wait till it actually releases and don't play early access cause the devs know the main features of whats not working as they might not be working on that part of the roadmap yet i.e. why does a.i. enemies do weird things cause that's in part 4 of road map but they are only upto part 1

I was hoping so much that the title was a joke, and then I was hoping you were just being a hater, but I heard you loud and clear. You were not too harsh and you saved me some money. I do not want this game to fail, but they need to take their time and finish it. I'll wait to hear better news in the future.

It's not releasing (full release) this month, though? It's releasing into beta. I for one knew this game was going to be jank as fuck. I understood what this game was currently, but also what it was going to be. It's likely a huge fucking mess right now. I don't doubt it. This is buyer beware at worst right now.

That dev in the trailer is the KING of hyperbole. The only BF3 servers shutting down is for 7th gen consoles. It's still gonna be playable for the vast majority of the active playerbase. They had like 85 people on at PEAK on consoles

You know, I haven't heard of this game and really after watching the video I don't want to. Making players drop $27 (during discount) for something that has less gameplay loop and quality as something like freaking content warning, like what? if a game that's $27 and is a buggy mess releasing in a few days, it will flop, what are the devs thinking?

Hey dude, got to play a bit as well during the beta and I was properly confused. Im hearing these devs tell me one thing, but I'm actively seeing that isn't the case. I'm no longer confident in the mechanics, second guessing things that are meant to be, with things that are. Stealth being a prime example, which is apparently in the game, but i never experienced it, thinking it was bugged. I feel out of control, in a videogame where control of the situation is key. The player movement is weird, the gunplay is awkward, the first person ads gave me whiplash and wish there was an option for toggle aim like in breakpoint. Disappointed is putting it lightly. But like most, I was one of those who asked for "early" early access, so I'll stick with it. I truly believe this game could be special, I'm already sold on the world and the lore. Just give me a game.

You are not playing Tarkov. These aren't Top Teir Soldiers. You're supposed to play as a character trying to survive and not engage in combat because you are severely weaker than the AI. The Devs explained this multiple times, and running into a match, "Gung Ho," will get you killed every time. From my understanding, this is supposed to be slow, tactical, and as stealthy as possible. Are the animations great? Not at all. However, I will stick with it and play it through.
