Everything said in this video means something to police officers. Brilliantly put together. It’s the world that no one else knows about.
“The job, is for some what they live for. And for 3 last year. What they died for...”
damn that shit hurt me
This video not only represents the Met police but also represents what their fellow officers across the pond face as well.
And all across the UK outside London.....
All over the world
It accurately depicts every emotion I go through every shift. Well done.
rizo321 Thankyou for your service!
Thank you for yours and your colleagues service
Jigsaw John I’m sure they are doing their best.
@Jigsaw John you do know that tye police are strechted thin as it is due to retirement and also people who disregarded the rules are only asking to contract this virus
@@rizo321 their best isn't being honored. As it bloody well should be
I come back here every now and then… and it always hits. If you are job, keep going bc I certainly am 👍
What a spectacular video.
Pro tip : you can watch series at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
A distinct lack of police haters commenting on this one!!!!!
Jim Cole It's hard to hate them after watching this
You just know they’re lurking under a rock, waiting… somewhere!
I saw this ad, I joined. 6 years later, best job in the world
Hell Fire - this is a touching video. Makes me want to join up....and I've just retired after 25 years as a Traffic Cop!
Thank you for being an amazing person
Don
I am talking to you
Jobs fucked mate!
Don't join kids haha
What can anyone say to ease the pain and burden you carry.
Thank you so much for all you do. Many prayers going your way. God bless you and keep you safe and well.🇨🇦🇬🇧🙏
Proud to say that my university lecture helped produce this video. He is a straight down the middle sort of guy, that is what being a police officer is about, being firm, but not over stepping the line.
Perfect and accurate. The same for all forces. Great video; this needs sharing far and wide 💙
What an awesome piece of film. Ex MPS Police Staff, 30 years in, proud to have served. Keep safe.
Catches the whole ethos of Policing. Brilliant portrayal which emphasises the debt, we the public, owe to the brave men & women who protect and serve us. Thank you.
had to hold back a tear, this is what i want to do when i leave education at 18/19
Best of luck Abdulkadir.
I'm sure you will make an exemplary officer.
From a retired copper in the Met.. work outside the Job first mate. It will give you valuable life experience to draw on. Good luck in the future.
Worst mistake of your life don't do it
Thank you to all officers doing their job 💙💙💙
if you listen and look at the uniforms this video is primarily about constables but also shows other jobs in the police, pilots, dispatch and detention officers, which warmed my heart since its not just showing to our love boys in blue on the front lines, its showing love to them no matter where you work in the police force, detention, dispatch, medical, all that, and I love that, because not many do take into consideration about what force really is, it's not just police constables and that's it, its so much more, and shows that better then any other video I have seen
I got sent this video for my school work thought it was just going to be video i study and wrote stuff down for but i actually learned alotfrom this video in a diffrent way you know
grate video thanks for posting, I watch it all the time, means allot to me.
NCALT to watch this video…
I appreciate you guys very much. I also hope I could join you one day. God might bless you always for all the good work that you guys are doing.
love the video! FANTASTIC
I love the sense of realism and honesty behind this video
JUST AMAZING!!! Love it!!
Every time I hear the asp, I get goosebumps
you terrify me
I, too, want to be a copper! I agree totally with your description! This had me shivering! I hope one day to stand side by side with brothers and sisters in the uniform! Fantastic video, brilliant upload!
Good luck if u do join m8, i was police mad a few months ago but I have drifted away from it slightly but only because I over thought it too much haha. Its a brilliant career option, im doing a public uniformed services course at college for 2 years so I should grasp more understanding along the way, the police hasnt left my mind I must say but I am a fitness mad guy with a love for action and weapons lol so I am naturally more interested in the RMC now, idk though cause there is quite a difference.between the two. Huge respect to the Police (most of them any way lol).
ballsworker97 Thanks mate, good luck to you in whatever you do!
I too hope to join up one day
***** I'm surprised it took this long for someone to make that sort of comment.
***** same
Sadly a lot of us now want to leave so the bit about not wanting to do any other job no longer holds true
Brilliant video
Totally accurate....excellent!
Love your blue friends... they would lay down their life for you without hesitation 💙
Great video and so true....
I did my time in the Met...best vid of capturing life through the eyes of coppers..good work...don't forget the drinking and partying as young coppers happy days indeed
Very moving video, credit to the Police.

Soo powerful I respect these pepole
watched this a million times and only just realised I work with the two officers at the start (the sighing one), wont be making detective lol.
also the union flag they show is my nick in Kentish town in Camden, it still there, never comes down.
Thank you
Thank you for all the comments and opinions guys, keep them coming! :D
Where did you get this because I can't find it anywhere
Superb!
Amazing!
Love this ❤️
Spot. On.
Cool just subbed
Policing of the Century.
Amazing
I think the good old days need to return along with ' the clip around the ear' for mouthy people & vandals. I think some ' young people' need a lesson in being respectful.
So true...
So true.
i hope to join the police soon, this video has made me even more optimistic! fantastic tribute to those who try and keep order in our country when its over run by thugs and criminals
This was put on 8 years ago, did you join?
@@summersday1423 I did indeed.
@@filmneek congratulations then you know as I do how true these words are.
So real.
Can anyone identify the music used in this video? Thanks

Hi mate, Great video, I've sent you a message.
I'm currently going through the vetting process for the MPS MSC, watching this gives a very good and clear insight. :)
Need to update - i've now passed vetting and had an induction evening at New Scotland Yard on Friday 12th Feb, was very good and was advised that 290 people applied to become specials and only 29 of us had been selected, they take 1 out of every 10 on average.
Quite an achievement
Now just training in March and then attestation!
+thefiestaguy Where are you training? If in HT can pop around and say hello!
Well first day is at Hendon, then it's at a local training site, so as I live in Kent it will probably be Marlowe House in Sidcup - DA4 postcode.
Hope to have this confirmed by end of feb/start of March.
From what I remember where you train is not based on where you live. Completed my training in Hendon whilst staying at Stratford.
On the induction evening that's what they said - although they have had some weird training placements in the past.
It was specifically mentioned that the training site would be local to you.
They emailed me back in late January to ask if I wanted to go on the February intensive if spaces became available - which unfortunately they didn't, but the two training centres offered back then were Hendon and Marlowe House which is more local to me.
There is a big difference to how they actually run the police in Burnley and other parts of Lancashire
But great video
Was this made by the originally by the MET POLICE?
Heros :-)
I was just going to comment on the Burnley and Padiham Facebook site but they have once again had the comment section removed
Jesus and today yet another officer died for the job
This isn't how it should be
The police need spit guard helmets.
But what are they saying how bad it is or how good ??? They're like it's bad for this reason good for this reason 🤔🤔🤔
Update #2 KEE 1 Exam passed, ELS assessment passed, OST Handcuffing assessment passed, Tuesday 29th Stop & Search + Arrest Assessment, next Friday (1st April) collecting uniform in the morning from Hendon then KEE 2 exam on late shift (14:00-22:00).
+thefiestaguy Best to keep this kind of stuff to private sites mate
Now I am sure as a Professional police service they are not supposed to remove the comment section.
15 for QE2. She's gone and I still can't stop serving. 12000miles no badge years past. Still a serving officer. Woody QGJM
I absolutely don’t ever want to be a police officer I want to be a mental health nurse always have
I would do this job in a heartbeat just I’m not a criminal therefore won’t pass recruitment I’ve applied 3 times and failed assessment asked numerous times why I fail never get an answer 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Give up with my dream of being a cop or special constable now🤷🏼♂️and I was a Met police cadet 3 years🤷🏼♂️
The met was the best force in the world when they actually cared💔
Dont give up my son six attempts he's now a police officer and they say "wish we had another twenty like you " he loves the job thank heavens he never gave up did hundreds of hours as a volunteer officer qnd he proved him self for no pay if you really want a tough job dont give up only the best are required good luck keep safe
Why don't you try again? Never give up, there are lots of people who are unsuccessful the first time. Send me a direct message I might be able to give some advice. Good luck.
You need a reality check, an absolute reorganization of the role you should have already been doing. Stop patrolling as a gangster mob bully on a monetary robin hood crusade to line your own pension pots....
It’s not them that need a reality check you plonker.. How about not being a back seat warrior and giving it a try. Criticism from the cheap seats holds no value.
@@dalet1001 What criticism would hold value if the cheap seats don't have a say?
