I also wanna point out that the Striker has Barrel Roll. So you can do a 1 right bank, then your 1 right turn, and then barrel roll slightly backwards and you have essentially turned your ship and you're ready to fight whatever is behind you.
Unless I'm mistaken the "Lightweight Frame" upgrade can only be used with the TIE Aggressor, TIE Bomber, TIE Phantom, TIE Punisher, TIE Striker, and TIE/sf fighters...
Love your guys' videos, so helpful for an up and coming xwing player. You guys are also one of the fewer board gaming channels with completely clean content. Just saying thanks. T.C. rocks!
I don't know who edits your videos. but I stopped paying attention to what you guys were saying and started watching the Macho Man Randy Savage at the bottom of the card. I love the videos guys.
Swarm Leader list I'm playing with Wedge Antilles - Swarm Leader, R2-D2, Integrated Astromech (Extra reds and reduces their green dice) Ahsoka Tano - Draw their Fire (She give Wedge a second action so you can have T.L and a Focus) Biggs Darklighter - R4-D6, Integrated Astromech (Keeps your other guys safe) Captain Rex - Sabine's Masterpiece, Jan Ors. (Reduces their red dice and provides the evade, Jan Ors give Biggs the evade) Only downside is you're going to be flying in formation with ships that have different dials. Good luck.
Just wondering, say you have the U wing title card flipped up on landing mode and you are at the edge of the board with the facing of the ship outwards and you reveal a 0 manouvre, does the ship turn 180 first and be forced to make a range 2 move or does the ship make the 2 manouvre off the board first?
Spacefrisian if you're stressed you'll just do a two white forward and not turn around. they address it in the latest FAQ regarding ability that trigger on activation. if you're not stressed you just turn around and receive your stress
I think the crew version of Cassian is legit obscene. You dont even have to be consistently right with it, you just have to know what maneuvre beats your own, and then call that. If you're wrong, then you get to do your thing anyway, if you are right you get to counter them irregardless.
I'm kinda interested in getting into this game. I am curious though, if you guess aloud where your enemy is going aloud, what is to stop the enemy from changing his mind at the last second?
The Star Wars Questioner you set your manuever on a dial and set it face down during the planning phase, so it will be obvious if your opponent tries to change it.
anyone have any thoughts about making a sniper list based around whisper whisper(32)+ recon specialist(3)+ advanced cloaking device(4)+ fire control system(2)+ swarm leader(3) darth vader(29)+ swarm tactics(2) academy pilot(12) academy pilot(12) the idea would be running darth vader within range 1 of whisper boosting his attack to pilot skill 9 and then line up a ship in the arcs of whisper and 2 of darth vader and the academy pilots allowing whisper to get a 6 attack dice roll at range, 7 at range 1 then peppering the ship with all the other fire, after things like stealth devices have been removed. interested to see if this list would work out in practice.
When was this taped? I assume it was before the latest FAQ nerfs because Zach doesn't seem devastated when he mentions Palp Aces. :( Thank you for the video though! I love when you guys do these X-Wing unboxing/mini reviews. Do you guys also play Armada? I would love videos like this for that game too.
TwoAwfulGuys Same. It wasn't a bad movie, but it was just uninspiring, which is weird for a movie that was all about being inspired. Even people who really liked it stopped talking about it a week or so later. Contrast that with TFA, which people arr still talking about a year later.
Yeah, oddly enough I found Jyn to be the least interesting character I've seen in a long time. She never really committed to being a bad-ass or a bleeding heart, so she just kinda ended being boring. That, and the first half of the movie felt like it had been rewritten too many times. Even the one part I really loved in theaters, the Darth Vader smackdown, was pretty silly, since he could have just taken the damn plans at any time. All in all, highly disappointing movie.
TIE Striker starts @19:51
Been missing that sweet, sweet X-wing content from you guys :)
I also wanna point out that the Striker has Barrel Roll. So you can do a 1 right bank, then your 1 right turn, and then barrel roll slightly backwards and you have essentially turned your ship and you're ready to fight whatever is behind you.
Expertise + Quickdraw, match made in heaven.
I am freakin' howling laughing at that Macho Man GIF inside the TIE upgrade bar. lolololol
Nice to see x-wing content again! Great work guys!
Unless I'm mistaken the "Lightweight Frame" upgrade can only be used with the TIE Aggressor, TIE Bomber, TIE Phantom, TIE Punisher, TIE Striker, and TIE/sf fighters...

Thank you for watching Silas! Got to keep it clean if you want everyone to enjoy :)
Lol! Randy Savage in the THE Striker icon bar! XD

ship with the back part is the TIE Reaper.
Swarm leader on Sabbacc at range one could potentially sling 7 dice... insane!!
been missing this xwing videos!
STAR WARS! "It broke new ground!"
"AT-ST's AT-ST's AT-ST's!"
"Lightsabers!"
Swarm Leader list I'm playing with

New X Wing content just as I leave work? What better way to start the weekend than you guys' sultry tones!
Oh man. We wish our tones were sultry!
Pure sabbac with swarm leader at range 1, 7 red dice?

hahahaha what's going on at the bottom of the card at @27:30 ?
Great video, as always. Expertise finally makes Rexler Brath's ability trigger consistently. Perfect match for him.

the idea would be running darth vader within range 1 of whisper boosting his attack to pilot skill 9 and then line up a ship in the arcs of whisper and 2 of darth vader and the academy pilots allowing whisper to get a 6 attack dice roll at range, 7 at range 1 then peppering the ship with all the other fire, after things like stealth devices have been removed. interested to see if this list would work out in practice.

Marclivis maybe because it wasn't that devastating a nerf?
"Zach Bunn's Razor"...? Looks like it doesn't get used a lot.
need Upsilon shuttle!!!
I subbed because of this video!
Oh wow you guys talk about X Wing Miniature
Am I the only one that thinks the U-Wing is pretty heavily undercosted?
Why are all the highest pilots female gee wiz
#1 Need more X Wings. #2 this video is like 3 months too late for u wing and tie striker review
I wasn't a fan of Rogue One :D

I've had people tell me that it was better than TFA and I'm like "Excuse me".
But yes. Zach, I am the 1%! Apparently!
