You could alternatively turn off steps 4, 8, 12 and 16 and spend less time rearranging your parts on the right steps. Same outcome, saves you 10 seconds or so.
Wow, I don't know why I didn't think of this myself. Of course, use Active Step to shorten the number of steps to 12. Brilliant! I've been wanting to do triplet patterns for the longest time on the Volca units. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for this. I've been looking for a tutorial that fully shows the programming method for layering samples. This is the first one that makes sense to me!
its been a few years mate but my go to bassline samples were Sample 3 - with a bit of attack to shave off the kick transient or one of the low tom samples between sample 40-50 :)
TheRealHucasys yo! At the time I didn't have a mic and I'm Australian so I thought my accent might be a bit rough for people! Haha. I also found it easier to record it and then come up with the best way of explaining myself in words, it was just easier at the time

Good job! Greetings from Brasil
Thanks for your tips, very helpful! I'm still thinking of buying this little machine - isn't it possible to make triplets with just SWING function?

Lush! Thanks
Love it!!!

What's up with people not saying a word on their tutorials?
