  • Since you have the color wheel info, thought I would share the basic prepared flesh palette I teach in my classes. Sorry for the glare in a few spots.
    Colors needed:
    Neutral Grays (Ivory Black & Raw Umber)
    White
    Yellow Ochre Pale
    Raw Umber
    Burnt Sienna
    Burnt Umber
    Venetian Red
    Alizarin Crimson

    ...excellent lecture...I just compared this gamut of colors to the "zorn palette" ...definitely makes sense without the cooler neutrals

    Excellent video and resource for flesh palettes! Hope to see more of this in the future and perhaps some pointers for shadow and highlights - are they drawn from this range, as well? Or depending on light, are they warmer or cooler?

    Could you substitute venetian red with burnt sienna (RYR)and raw sienna for burnt sienna(YR)? So the colors would be yellow ochre, raw sienna, and burnt sienna🤔
