    I just love Vladi for his smart play. The smartest player on earth!

    • @zencosuzuki8496
      @zencosuzuki8496 5 лет назад +2

      The smartest player , in my opinion, and not only, was Werner Schlager. At 30 y.o. he became World Champion /2003/- only he had a title into the 21 st century, except Chinese players , beating Wang Liqin/ World Champion 2001/ and Kong Lingui/ Olympic Champion 2000/ , and in the final Joo Se Hyuk , probably the best defender player in there times. But of course Vladi is a legend and also very very smart player. This is a one of my favourite players. Calderano has a future. He is amazing player.

      @@zencosuzuki8496 agree about Schlager being extremely smart player, but I was talking about players who are still active. IMO Vladi is not only a smart player, but a very intelligent person in general which is reflected in his interviews, his multi-lingual skills and his chosen non-straining play style which allowed him to have a long injury-free career and earning potential.

      I agree. Moreover I like in Vladi, he's usually very calm. One of the best players in Europe , and not only , of all time.

    Vladi is such a clever player. Mostly soft shots - when he went for power, Calderano almost always won the rally - and placement to defang a younger, quicker, more powerful opponent. I feel sad he's not the same player who won the world cup 9 years ago - I'd love to see that Vladi take on FZD - but what remains is a still a pleasure to watch.

    Samsonov is highly respected player. I see him as a perfect example how to properly execute forehand, backhand and blocking.

    Vladi is such a pleasure to watch. So elegant, versatile, calm and loose. And no european player in sight who could follow him or Timo. So both hopefully will enrich the world tour for some more years.

    ITTF may give Samsonov a very special category award, since he is the highest aged (43 years) Pro player still actively playing and keeping the position in top list.

    Just in terms of age, Vladi could very well be Calderano's FATHER. Let that sink in.

    All matches with Samsonov are always maximum entertainings ! His famous feature : VERY HIGH ACCURACY. He makes very less unforced errors. He often wins, and he can lose world top players, too, but there are always intensed competings. Very smart player ! Very pleasured to enjoy his performance.
    He try to always confidently control the ball with high accuracy to lead rallies to positional playings, in which players must run around the yard to receive balls in different corners. Then when players can not effectively return ball because of runnings, then chances will emerse with high balls from opponents, and it is time to make devastating extreme fast balls to earn points. This playing style will inspire all .
    Why did Hugo lose in this match ? Hugo showed that his forehand strokes and some backhand strokes are extreme fast devastating and beautiful. But Dear Hugo, you have not accuracy as Samsonov, especially in long rallies with running around the yard. Some beautiful successfull strokes are no meanings if without small percent of fails.

    It is very funny that Hugo Calderano always shows his hemorrhoid paintful face when he makes services and receives services. It just rises questions. But no problem, his performance is great. Good progress success for him ! He can continue to show his hemorrhoid paintful face, but we hope that it is not because of real hemorrhoid !

    Samsonov had a poor match by his standards, but he still won. You can rely on Hugo to miss. However, I wish Samsonov was a bit more aggressive for entertainment purposes.

    • @unpoulet6859

      Excuse me? I absolutely love watching Vladi and his blocking-based, calm play style. That's what makes him one of the top 5 entertaining table tennis players to me and possibly many others.

    • @inyourface123
      @inyourface123 5 лет назад

      Samsonov is a minimalist. He does not waste his energy and plays just enough to beat the opponent. That's the secret of his injury-free long career.

    • @shenzhenpingpong
      @shenzhenpingpong 5 лет назад

      Sometimes Samsonov does get fired up and plays aggressive and with great smoothness. I recall some matches like that not even two years ago.
