I love seeing the mid range sets. Like the totally random ones that a lot of people don’t remember. Keep it up 💪🏼
They're also much rarer because the game was effectively dead at that point so they were printed about 1/10 as much as the WOTC era cards.
@@nathanzondlo7393 yup so once people realize like they have recently they were worth 10$ a card a year ago now most of them are now between 50$-200$ a card and it’s only going up from here

i actually enjoy watching these sets get opened rather than vintage only, vintage is fun don't get me wrong but repetitive, mid range sets are fun! do more of these!, plat, B&W era definitely fun to see since a lot of people don't know about them including me :)
Love seeing these lesser known mid-range sets! Great video. I'd love to see some EX series packs, like Emerald and Holon Phantoms. So many super cool cards in those sets!

I loved the art for black and white card sets, haven't seen a lot of these cards for a while.
This is fun these are sets that I either missed completely or only saw in passing, and am glad to see now... if you can more of these.

I’ve been a pokemon fan for over 10 years but never paid attention to the tcg till recently. All you see is openings of Wizards of the coast sets so please do continue opening these sets i’ve never seen!🙏🏽
In case you didn't know, Black and White: Emerging Powers is probably the only set where the most valuable card is cheaper than an individual booster pack. Those Thundurus and Tornadus full art cards are only like $5-$10 at best. It's weird to say, but even Steam Seige is kind of more valuable.
When i was a kid, me and my brother used to have a whole binder full of some of the rarest cards. Our parents were really bad off on drugs and one day they threw our entire binder out on the highway going down the road, can't remember why but they were having some sort of episode, and it broke my heart knowing that we lost all of those cards that we collected for years... I never collected again after that, but your videos remind me of the time when I was a kid who used to collect and trade them all the time. Love your videos, you and the Heart Squad have rekindled that passion I used to have. Thank you for such amazing content, and hopefully you can pull a holographic charizard on your next vintage opening! Much love! ❤

i love seeing you open the diamond and pearl packs, that’s how i got into pokemon myself as a kid. we didn’t have a lot of money and could only do big things for holidays, so seeing the pokemon from the cards in my game was incredible to me. thanks for letting me relive that hype again 💕

Black and White base set was my favorite set of all time. When it came out when I was a kid, I pulled a Full Art Zekrom 114/114 and didn't know till like a couple months ago.

I think these are my favorite types of openings. I love seeing the packs from 2007-2012, since those are what I first started collecting.
Somehow I have this weird cut-off in my brain where the DPPt era feels "old" while the BW era feels "not that old." Maybe it's just because the BW sets look and feel very similar to the XY era which was still recent enough at the time I got into the TCG that I have quite a few cards from it. Meanwhile the designs and systems in play in DPPt feel distinctly different.

Mid-range packs are cool I’d love to see more!
So when I was a kid I opened stormfront, and actually pulled the secret rare charmander, but I didn’t know it was a secret rare at the time, I just thought it was a cool, “golden” card. I did realize it a couple years ago though. It didn’t keep its PSA 10 status, although it is still in fantastic condition (maybe 8-9), and it’s a card I cherish a lot more today after realizing it’s worth!

Stormfront hands down the best set from the Diamond and Pearl, so many great cards. Love the level x cards! Fun opening and I hope there is more in the future like this 😊👏👏

I recently got back into opening pokemon cards. Luckily I got a tin and booster packs from rite aid stores. I found packs like Ancient Origins and Roaring Skies. I have over 20 Battle Styles packs.

I've been watching a ton of your videos, and it's been killing me because I lost the binder that had me and my brother's holographic cards and just cards we liked from the early days. We only collected from 1998 to 2005 and had a binder full of cards. I remember a holo Blaine's Charizard my brother got and, I think I might have had a 1st edition holo Vaporeon. but I was so young I only remember those cards because I really liked them, probably had tons of nice cards in there.
