Katina and I decided to kick off our 2021 food challenge touring in Florida, and our February Florida Tour turned into a February & March Florida Tour!! I attempted lots of food challenges all over the state of Florida. For food challenge #30, I traveled to The Green Marlin Restaurant and Raw Bar in Vero Beach, Florida which is on the Treasure Coast of Florida. I was the first person to attempt and help kick off The Green Marlin's new Seafood Tower Challenge which had a 45 minute time limit to finish a 3-tiered seafood tower of deliciousness. I was trying to win my $129 meal free plus a sweet t-shirt & hat, and the first spot up on The Green Marlin's Wall of Fame. The Green Marlin Restaurant's Massive Seafood Tower Challenge in Vero Beach, Florida ($129):
The Green Marlin Restaurant and Raw Bar is a delicious seafood restaurant that is Irish themed.
For this seafood challenge, there is a giant 3-tier tower brought out with 3 different sets of foods.
The bottom layer represents the raw bar, featuring 1 dozen raw clams and 1 dozen raw oysters.
Oysters were decorated w/ deliciousness - 4 Dirty Oysters, 4 Sushi Oysters, & 4 Ceviche Oysters.
The middle layer - seafood boil with snow crab legs, lobster, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes.
The top layer featured fried seafood items - fried shrimp, fried oysters, fried fish filets, and more.
The challenge also included their signature Tuna Bomb which is their most popular appetizer.
The 2 beers drank along the way were optional and not required as part of the tower challenge.
For dessert, there is an Apple Pandowdy with ice cream. The butter cake was just optional too.
There is a 45 minute time limit to finish everything required as part of the seafood challenge.
Winners receive the $129 seafood feast free plus a sweet t-shirt, GM hat, and Wall of Fame!!

You should of did the whole win before you begin and what he’s how chef Ramsey takes the meat out of the lobster. You missed so much for sure. Looked really tasty anyway but not a completed challenge. The legs have some of the best meet! Keep it up Randy. Fan from Spokane wa here

Before I watched this I wasn't sure what I wanted for my birthday dinner, then realized I hadn't had good seafood in a long time. I may not be able to do the tower, but that fish, lobster, and crab all looked amazing!!

I wish I knew about this. Would have loved to come watch. This restaurant was actually a god send during the pandemic. They closed but opened a little market inside and sold food and cleaning supplies and toilet paper when all the big stores were out.

The French and American meanings of à la mode differ. The american meaning of à la mode means topped with / finished with cream / ice cream.
The French (and correct) meaning is fashionable or in the manner of what is fashionable at the time.

That was a way better value than that pricey burrito awhile back. My dad caught a marlin in Florida wile he was at an Air Corp radar mechanic school in WWll. He survived being in a rip tide there too. Glad you had this healthy fish challenge.
