Very nice 👌 Brings back happy memories. Tramping with my brother on the Coruisk side many years ago. We turned down the Duhbs ridge. I want to see those boiler plates! Someday! Thanks!
Great video again, Andy. Really like how real the camera work is: lots of films of the Cuillin have that fish eye effect that makes everything look utterly impossible! Yours are really dramatic but give an accurate sense of the terrain, and make me feel I might - just might! - be able to do some of these hills without having a panic attack!
Hi, yeah, i'm not a fan of the fish eye effect either. If you get good weather the Cuillin are fun. There is always the option of hiring a guide for peace of mind, and let them worry about route finding and safety, so you can just enjoy yourself while you are there. Cheers, Andy.
Ive climbed every Munro on Skye, yours is the only channel I've come across that gives the real definitive experience of what it's like to climb them all...i also remember coming up the Dubh slabs via the abseil and seeing grass on the slopes of Sgurr Dubh Mor!!...brilliant videos.
Hi Anthony. That's the feel I am aiming for in my videos, so it's like you are there in first person view with just the sights and sounds on the hills. Great for the memories of being there. Glad you enjoyed them. Cheers, Andy.
Nice video, thank you. Over 40 yrs since I did this myself. In those days nothing like go pro , I don’t even have any photographs. Funny how I still remember some of the rock formations and terrain so well after seeing this. Sgurr Dubh Mor was a little airy for me as it was a bit damp in places.
Hi Robert, thanks for watching. We are certainly spoiled for choice these days for great cameras. The Cuillins definitely live long in the memory, wonderful mountains. Cheers.
