A few things not elaborated in the video. - These combos work on all characters, but heavyweights like Leo, Nagoriyuki, and Potemkin are lower to the ground in cS, 2H sequences, so you don't want to fully charge Kou afterwards - When something is notated with square brackets (such as [S] or [H]) it means to hold the button for a fully charged Kou or fully charged Fuujin. - Some combos require a partially charged Fuujin (especially after cS, 2H). This is to ensure the Fuujin doesn't whiff after 2H. - Any combo with 66, means that a dash input is involved. You can substitute this with dash macro. In fact I encourage you to use dash macro. It's quite a drug.
@@chrisedwards8802 so after charged dust, you have to follow up to get that transition to that high part where you can do your string. 8 specifically refers to that you need to hold up after hitting the charged dust to follow up. 9 is a forward jump cancel.

This is my first foray into GG and all the character designs and archetypes are well thought out and different from one another. I think everyone is interesting, however Anji, Nago, and Gio are my absolute favs
I used to play Faust in the 2nd open beta, but otherwise I'm primarily an Anji main and traditionally only stick to singular characters, but I'll make an exception of a DLC catches interest.
Immeasurably helpful as always! I know you said not to expect frequent videos from here on out, but if you ever find the time to make a video on Anji match ups, that'd really be great. I have no idea what to do against characters like Axl or Leo as Anji. It feels like Axl is impossible to get in on, and Leo covers so many of Anji's options, especially when it comes to Fuujin and maintaining c.S pressure.
I'm considering this a lot, but I want to wait until the first patch notes hit because we're supposedly expecting some news this month. At least we're getting the first DLC and it makes sense that there may be some minor/major adjustments to go along with it.

in word form though the tl;dr is that Anji's offense is scarier now in the new version, but I think he still has a lot of issues with gambling/risks that make him hard to play competitively. He has some good things and is a far better character in S2, but in MY OPINION, he is not that great.

The dust combo I use is. jH, jD, 9, jS, jK, jS, jK, jD, jD. It nets slightly more damage.

i cannot for the life of me figure out how to get kou to combo into jH... it always gets dropped unless it’s in the corner. any tips?
the new patch makes the OTG jH route a bit harder since they are closer to you.
It's better to avoid the otg now.
