  • In this video, I am enjoying an overnight in my bushcraft shelter. I did some cooking and fishing with no luck. I consumed potatoes, fallow deer heart, tomatoes and chaga tea. The temperatures were between -4° C (24.8°F) and 4° C (39.2°F).
    Thank you for watching!

    Little suggestion for camp, build about a 4,5 foot wide, 3 foot high "reflector" behind fire, not so much to 'reflect' heat towards the shelter, but they have 2 other functions, 1: they protect the fire from wind. 2: when the reflector warms from the fire, it creates a natural updraft, convection and will actually draw the fire smoke, away from shelter

    I love the scenery the snow the woods, but I was let down with watching more cooking then anything else. I always go back to you need to keep the shelter warm. In this video you showed a little fire to cook with and then it burned out to amber's. Title said bush camping in wind and snow. Overall let down

    • @sylviebourguignon1
      @sylviebourguignon1 2 месяца назад +3

      i THINK THAT S rather intelligentb to be humble enough to sometimes rely on a lighter. If you look at his other videos you will see the guy is perfectly capable of lighting a fire with two peces of woods. Fact is the weather conditions aren't ideal, he doesn't wear any gloves. Give him a break. Or DIY
