Capillary action is created by the tendency of polar molecules ( such as water) to adhere to other polar things (the walls of a thin tube). As a result you can't just use any solution as you stated or at least you'd want to match the polarity of the solvent to the tubing. In this case I don't think it really matters because capillary action doesn't seem to drive the migration, the electric charge does. The only consequence of using a small diameter tube is to increase the relative surface area that your analyte see and there by increase the resolution of the instrument (you don't have to run it through as much tubing). It's also nice because small tubes use less solvent and save money.
Good video. Can you explain stacking? When using electrokenetic injection, having the ionic strength in the sample buffet lower than the column buffer. Is he electric field higher in the sample?
Using headphones helps with the audio although only the left side works. And as for people complaining about his face being there, it honestly helps! Lol. Plus, some other youtube lecturers do it as well. LOVE YOU SHOMU. I'm your biggest fan. xx
Good evening sir I could follow your brilliant presentation on capillary electrophoresis; However I'm having trouble with neutral molecules such as Nifedipine I can not ionize and I seek your expertise as I work on quality control of this molecule in Senegal by capillary electrophoresis method. My name is Ariel
Can you help me to understand what the detection potential is? I already know the CE voltage, but in my methodology said that the detection potential is 1.20 V, and I don't know what that's means Thank you
My question in... When +ve molecules move towards negative and -ve silica ions present on inner surface of capillary then movement of +ve is not hindered by negative charge as +ve attract to negative of silica ion.
Wrong bro! Cof ????? You say chemiosmotic force.... That is totally wrong... Please check it... And you say eof (electroosmotic force) not force but flow... Please correct it for new students..
It is a common sense if u r making a video u should keep ur phone silent as ur 1st priority should be the explanation nobody wants to knw which phone u use lol!

very good video but unfortunately i got frustrated by the ringing of the phone.

Great, video thanks! Question, wouldn't smaller molecules have a larger diffusion coefficient? If not, why not?

+Paria Babamiri thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
My left ear enjoyed this
KKKKKKK
This video is awesome! Thank you for making it.
You're welcome
Thank you sir . Your lectures on electrophoresis are really beneficial.
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
Whether Buffer and sample are different? What kind of buffer is used in CE for sample separation .

use eof to push the milecule
so you work in the field but have no clue what to do? How is it your job yet you have to ask some random person on the internet how to do it
That moment when you can explain capillary electrophoresis but you don't know how to put your phone on silent
Can you help me to understand what the detection potential is?
I already know the CE voltage, but in my methodology said that the detection potential is 1.20 V, and I don't know what that's means

Bhaiya that means the molecule coated on capillary will be fixed and negative. But the analyte will have charge depending on ph know

By aplying pressures through pump or some thing the positive species force to move out from capillay and attracted towards other side that is cathode
Sir this method of teaching is not effective, compared to previous
Really beneficial video..thank you
Dankie Dr Shomu well explained......
very good. very nice explanation
Subscribing right away. Thanks for the help!

Thank u sir
You're welcome
This Wonderful! Thank you!
+Clay Albracht glad it helped
Am I the only one who can't hear anything the volume is too low even though I maximized eveything
I thinks it's okay. No other complains from people
+D. Lee The volume is ok.. :)
True
Nice explanation thank you bro..
why volume on left speaker only
I realized that after reading your comment.
Put your phone on silent bro
Exactly
There is a 4 minute video on electrophoresis on youtube that explains the method ten times better than this guy
Martin Elenkov link plss
??
Who discovered CE??
Man’s phone popping off

Sometimes it happens like we forget to silent our phone in tuitions🤗
THANX
we don't need to see your face and your room while you're explaining things to us bro thanks for the video though
Facial expression helps in better understanding
Gasper Kosmac is a hater!
u r too damn good...
phone band kai leo ho
Shut the phone off.....
There is no volume in this video
Hindi me smjao sir
How come negative charges move towards negative end?? Dummmm
