In a way (as my personal opinion), the way no games similar to royale high have succeeded - Despite royale highs downfall - Reminds me of the way there’s no successful yandere simulator clones. I don’t know how to explain it, and i don’t know if there’s something that connects the two, but i find it similar how both games were peak at some point, devs were crappy, it fell, and now there are no good (or decently playable) clones available. It’s sad to see rpyale high fall and not do anything about it. They only care about money and we’re doomed
I forgot that YanSim clones even existed lol. You are right, YanSim clones like Sara's School Life, Watashi no Mono and so on always never survive and get discontinued. There's some still surviving YanSim clones like Beating Heart and Yamane's Love Life (although it's quite inactive in updates cuz the dev is still studying university)
i agree! school girls simulator and high school 2018 community is still alive today, its just dying because lack of updates, the problem is that these games dont stay for long,
Hiiii, I’m a random person here to drop my opinion here! I also think a MAJOR role is the fact rh holds so much nostalgia. I’ve been playing since the fifth/sixth grade and now I’m a hs senior. I literally put on playlists DEDICATED to the music rh used to play before the copyright strikes in Roblox and just just about the of times. Royals high as changed so much over the years and it’s safe to say people have had so many role plays and memories there. Whereas the other games are more recent and some lack a solid base, rh is ofc a high school for school rps, Astro is just spaced themed, etc etc Royal high is both bittersweet. With how it’s going and the dryness of it now it’s best to quit and move on, but it also just holds so much and it’s hard to let go. People wanna hold onto old memories if they’re not sure if they can make new ones, If that makes sense.
The sad thing is Royalty Kingdom two was discontinued due to the msicommunication and issues with the dev team (similar to royale high) it's as if its bound to happen to every dress up game; fashion famous, AS, RK2, fashion dolls, dollista, and royale high :(
I can confirm this is not why it was discontinued! Im friends with the owners and they just stopped working on it because they didnt feel motivated anymore
I love astro ren, people aren't playing because 1:no roplay spots 2: they haven't updated in a while (which is bringing the player count down because most people are waiting for updates because other then dress up their is no other reason to play)
True Royalty Kingdom was so confusing to me when I tried it, I often forget that astro renaissance even existed. They're good games but I think royale high is better in my opinion

Me personally, I think the main reason was these games were only being played because of the royale high boycott.The only reason they were even noticed was because of royale high.If royale high hadn’t had that huge drama and boycott,very little people would know these games existed.

so looking at the new DTI update to me the entire DTI lobby looks like it was straight up taken from Royal high if I’m being honest. it also really annoyed me when people would compare DTI with Royal high during the month of September and August with the godess of triumph thing. DTM Ivan is another major competitor, but the thing about DTI is it barely lasted a year without getting into controversy I don’t think is gonna last much longer if I’m being completely honest to me inspired game inspired by so many random fashion games put into one.
I still play royalty kingdom 2 till now:3 idk why but I find rh confusing and it is also very laggy for me (especially when campus 2 came) that is when I switched to rk2 and I don't find rk2 confusing when I first tried it. however it's so sad it's discontinued, but I'm still farming for more items tho. this is my opinion!
Personally for me it's just that games like Royale High are just not popular right now, games that are popular are games where you can just hop on and play like DTI, very easy and quick to learn. We can see that also with bloxburg vs brookhaven where brookhaven is dominating roblox despite many people saying that bloxburg would replace it once it went free. Most people don't want to grind for diamonds/money for stuff anymore

Astro renaissance I started playing it again royalty kingdom 2 is just dead I haven't played it much idk if the devs of royalty kingdom 2 will do anything I'm just wondering what will happen to these games also fluffy hills I play it's really fun I hope these will update more and keep people entertained and busy the devs of astro renaissance are focusing on school and stuff so I'm hoping the devs update the game soon fluffy hills talked about the Halloween update and they haven't said anything about the game or when the update will come out
AR has also problemtic Discord head mod and devs where i have bin told that alot of ppl are walking on glass in there because oh three of the head mods. one head mod keeps doxxing them self, then the server mass ban cuz of one dev year ago and others being super ableist. i left cuz i did not feel safe as one head mod is a danger to kids. i wont tell ppl too not play ar cuz its a bad game, no its the team and head mods that are making ppl feel unsafe. so too ppl reading this play ar at ur onw risk and NEVER join the ar discord
I'm not active in the AR discord community but like how am I learning this now? I have 1mil moonstones in AR and I like the whole space themed dress up game concept. I don't want to compare it to RH as it's not a RH clone. Just another dress up game on Roblox.

crown academy, seashell shores, enchanted, mystic meadows, astro renaissance have all declined and discontinued since then
That's why communication between devs and their playbase is important. Most games fell due to the lack of it.

and the gameplay, once ur done w all the quests theres basically nothing to do besides farming for items but even the farming is so simple its boring

I feel bad for astro Renaissance I been farming in that game for days for moonstones so I can save up to buy the Lunar new year clothes
