Exactly! Passengers need to be realistic. The airline is putting safety first and fixing the fault in the plane. It's not as if they have spare planes waiting around to slot in - passengers should understand that the staff are probably working overtime to try to find solutions to the problems.

I feel sorry for both the staff and the passengers as to be told that the flight was cancelled and then reinstated is a proper pisstake. Some of them passengers had already got taxis to hotels and they probably missed that flight.

I find it rather disgusting that folks who are inconvenienced, take it out on low level customer support people who have nothing to do with the problem. What do they expect...the clerk is going to conjure up a plane or order the plane to fly with a mechanical issue? Hey...if your job is so important that you absolutely need to be there on a specific date (99% do not) then you should fly out a couple days early. Back in 2015 I flew from Copenhagen to Gatwick. Easyjet knew there was bad weather, actually a storm at Gatwick. We were pushed back and spent 45 minutes sitting on the plane there. The alternative would have been to fly to the UK, facing dangerous conditions and a possible diversion. As we got off at Gatwick, one man walked off the plane and up the tunnel a picture of rage and another said to his companion 'well they've surpased themselves this time.' I forget how late we were, maybe 90 minutes or so. Perfectly acceptable delay.

I did this flight once but it always seemed pointless. 134 NM when point to point even National Express coaches from Liverpool to London would be quicker once you'd taken the transit times and check in times for the flight. No wonder they cancelled it.

Flying is not as easy as driving a car...so these angry people have to acccept that, sometimes, due to technical issues the plane might be delayed or late. I never, ever complained or screamed like these peeople are doing when my plane was late or cancelled.....
You CAN cancel a flight if the plane has an issue or problem , as a passenger, i am happy with the engineers or pilot if they are not happy for aircraft to fly. If a plane crashes you will miss your meetings for ever ,
Chaos is due to "Operations" have NO Understanding/Empathy for either 1. Passengers or 2. Their own staff at the Airport. It is not helped by selfish passengers who ONLY want their resolution and "stuff anyone else". It is called a "Meghan Attitude". I have had many issues that is why, where possible, I always drove so if something goes wrong it is my decision rather than blaming others. This clip was "SHOOT THE MESSENGER", a pathetic attitude that the Country has seen WHO Not to travel with, I mean which passenger you do not want on your flight. Remember their faces and avoid.

If you, Chitown, as the customer, refuse to be reasonable, a manger walking away or refusing to listen to you behave childishly seems appropriate. Customer service cannot magically make the flight be uncancelled. Give them time to get all the necessary information together regarding lodging, transportation, refunds etc. and then have an adult conversation.

The Sleazy Jet employee in the hat is surely one of the nastiest individuals around. It is obvious Sleazy Jet lives up to it’s name.
My mum recently flew with easyjet and said they were brilliant.
You try doing her job for a week and see how you feel, that's if you could last a week.
