  • You know how it goes in the garden, you set out to do one thing-plant some plants and 700 other tasks jump into your path and before you know it hours are gone and you're working on something else entirely. It can't be just me, can it?
Spend some time with me in my Philadelphia zone 7 garden while I wrestle with roses and create a new grouping of planters.
If you're new here, I'm a Philadelphia based floral and event designer whose entire garden is for cutting and flower arranging. I don't make straight rows of anything and I'll cut with abandon to create floral designs from the first flowers of Spring till the frost kills the mums in the Fall. I focus on color and planting things together so they bloom all season in waves of designs-like I've arranged each and every stem.
To see 3 years of transformation of my abandoned garden:
    • Renovating My Abandone...
To see me work on a recent floral design:
    • Large Scale Urn Floral...
A video I made on sourcing planters in different styles:
    • Sharing Resources for ...
I get my music & sound fx from Soundstripe, as a newer RUclipsr I wanted a custom feel to my soundtracks without the crazy cost of some of the big licensing companies that charge by song, with Soundstripe-it’s one monthly or annual fee and unlimited access to their library which I find full of cool, contemporary and interesting options. As an affiliate, I’m happy to recommend them to you all! Click the link below to see the available plans:

I work from a list everyday but I'm 72 years old with Osteoarthritis of the knees. SO I do what I can & things are always changing. Your inventory of plants needing to be planted would overwhelme me. Mid Michigan & working 1/2 acre. I love your home & grounds. Your floral arrangements are true art.

Gardening vlogs are my favourite. I like how you set up the camera and just left it, it made it really easy to appreciate what you're doing.

I love your house, garden and green. I totally understand the stalemate you feel when I have a million things to plant but then there are weeds and then I have to move things!!!!😅 I keep telling myself that it is only May...

I'm glad I'm not the only one, all us gardeners are plant hoarders aren't we? You're right, it is only May and it will all get done, eventually. Thanks for watching!

I love the idea of the rose ‘in’ the wire vase! If you wrapped the branches with brown paper, you could probably slide the vase over… Just a thought 💕 Well, never mind… I see the vase has cross cross wires in the bottom 🙄

Oh you know I sat there considering getting the angle grinder out and just cutting out the bottom wires 😂 it's a great suggestion and if I ever design my own version of this concept, it will be totally open for ease of putting a plant through! thanks for watching xo
