I know a lot of people don't care for this show but I love it! It's funny and silly and I enjoy all the puns in the waiting area! Plus, walking thru the branches of the Tree of Life is never a bad idea!! Thank you!!
Maybe because we are older caring more about the immersive experience. I grww up with the movie and love this ride. Same as the avatar ride from long ago. So atmospheric. Really makes you forget the real world for a while
After all these years this show is still a hoot. My cousin's fist visit to AK and he didnt know what to expect and ended up loving this show. It was great seeing his reaction. Especially during the spider scene. Tfs 4K.
Haha yea, that spider seen can be creepy if you hate spiders! The show is a lot of fun though and am glad it’s still around. Thank you as always Andrew!
@@diegofavaratozfilms962 I was there a few months ago. While I love the show. The flick animatronic in the ceiling doesn’t have much movement left in his jaw. I’m assuming it’s because he’s been hanging upside down for the better part of two decades. I hate to hear they’re planning on replacing that show. A repaired flick could really bring it back
@@troyking4787 It's really on it's last legs. The "acid" and "stinkbug gas" are minimal at this point (they probably don't want to stink up the theatre much when it's gonna be replaced) and the stinger and bugs under the seat effect don't work in certain rows anymore.
It’s my pleasure Steven! I’m glad this show is still here are all these years. I could see them changing it somewhat soon but I hope it still has a few more years left! Thanks so much as always 😃
Be glad you ever had the chance to visit in the first plaxe those parks. I am next year 30 and never could visit universal or disneyworld or the other famous american parks. Only phantasia land in germany and moviepark. Which dont compare in the slightest to the stuff you see in America
Gosh, I wish I can go see this show in person. Heck I wish I could’ve been there to witness A Bug’s Land before it closed permanently. It would’ve filled my heart with so much joy cause I’m such a huge fan of the movie.
I don't get how this could be rethemed to Zootopia. Zootopia does not fit in with the Tree of Life atmosphere. Plus I just love this show! But theres one thing I can say for sure, It really is Tough to be a Bug!
From what I heard it's basically gonna be the same thing but less "scary" and with Zootopia style animals instead of bugs (ie Porcupine and Skunk instead of Spider and Stinkbug). Disappointing, but the theatre is in desperate need of an update and it's pretty clear Bug's Life 2 is never happening.
Although the attraction scared me as a child, it makes zero sense for Zootopia to replace an attraction literally designed to shrink you down to the size of an insect entering the Tree of Life theater.
🐛🐜We got bugs! 🦟🐝How can you not love walking under the Tree of Life for an attraction! Many moons ago I was the stupid sub who had no idea this existed & asked "why are there people in a line near the tree?". Yeah, AK will be an whole day experience for me obviously Lol LOL. Even with the creepy crawlers, can't wait to experience this in person. Thx for archiving 💜
Haha oh no worries Liz, it’s honestly the craziest queue ever! I love how they made it all a part of the Tree of Life. The show is a lot of fun and hope it lives on for awhile longer, but unfortunately I could see it being changed in the near future. Glad I finally filmed it, thanks so much as always 😊
So I convinced my summer camp to see this show today at Animal Kingdom and it was the biggest mistake! People were traumatised by this show and said that it was the scariest thing they have ever done. They were even still scared on the bus ride back to our camp! I honestly think that this show is cute but terrifying at the same time, but I think it’s time for this show to go because it looks outdated with animatronics being less fluid but that’s my opinion. But the experience was funny and regrettable!
Reminded me that I used to watch a bugs life like everyday when I was 5 years old it was one of my favorite movies I’m thinking about watching the movie again with my little cousin and is if I can get her into loving the movie like I did
Arachnophobe here…I still like this show (I just know that in one scene, I am going to have an extreme irrational reaction (even knowing they are animatronics…not real…still…every muscle tensed watching this!!). Lots of fun with the 4D effects and a great Finale!!
Silly show. Great air conditioning. This movie never really got the credit it was due. Actually fits in perfect at AK. Which means eventually it will get redone… WDW, please get started with construction ASAP at AK!
Ohh boy we went to Animal Kingdom in June and we (including my 3 year old brother) went to see this show. My dad and stepmom had no idea what it was. My other brother and I knew EXACTLY what it was but didn’t say anything cause we didnt think they’d know what we were talking about lol. It basically went like this: (beginning of the show, Flik pops out) Baby brother: LOOK, A DADDY BUG!! (5 mins later Hopper shows up) Baby brother: (IMMEDIATELY goes from laughing and smiling to screaming and kicking) (Dad takes baby brother out of the theater) In hindsight I probably should have warned them but I still can’t help but giggle when I think about how quickly my brother went from loving to hating it the second Hopper came out XD
So i take it at the end they pull the poke your bottom stuff again??? Also I saw b4 there was a Hopper Animatronic ...im guessing they did away with that one and just put him in CGI later to save on cost and maintenance...I understand he was a top tier animatronic on the level of The wicked witch from the great Movie ride so it would make since... I mean Flik was seeming a bit worse for wear up there upside down.
"It's Tough to be Bug" is going to be replaced with a: "Zootopia 3D attraction in: "Disney's Animal Kingdom." I'm looking foward to it. So Good bye: "It's Tough to be a Bug." 😒
