Overly lame how you have to buy this as a Tonehub owner already, hard pass. Actually super off-putting.

Agree with the general consensus here. Looks very cool, but including it for monthly users and making those who already paid a premium for a license was a bad move. Especially with how it was advertised.

I was hyped for the update until I found out you have to pay $100 extra for the tracer features. Not cool considering most people have already paid $200 for the plugin plus hundreds in addons...

The Tracer & Trace Exchange expand the core functionalities of the plugin much like an expansion pack (or essentially infinite expansion packs), so license-wise we're treating it as such.

      Makes sense.

The new update is pretty, but forcing people to pay for Neural Amp Modeller (which is almost certainly the back-end here) is the wrong move.

For the Tracer, our development team researched the publicly available open source code from NAM, and while we gathered valuable data from this initial research, we decided to integrate our own machine learning platform that importantly utilizes our original Tracing Technology that was developed in 2019 (the Tracing tech that we've been making the artist packs with all along).
