    John is one of the only guitars players I admire who articulates his philosophies around playing the same way I always have in my mind. Always cool to hear him speak on it. He is such a good riff writer and writes with a perfect mix of rhythm and melody. If you see this comment Mr. Browne, you are a huge inspiration to many of us!

    Could I recreate the tone from the song Leviathan with this pack? I can't get those crazy highs during the chorus, I can play the song pretty tight, just can't get that sound, you know?

    You should check the presets again, some of the Red Seven amps sound very strange, overdriven, stiff and not cool. Or is that supposed to sound so strange?

      Have you tried ‘Split Milk’ on a neck pickup single coil? That’s how that one was created.

      John gave a ton of metadata in the plugin to sort of guide you towards what we was after when he made the traces. Like his comment, definitely try using it as a starting point.

    5150 is one of the fastest amps. What is he talking about? Lol

      And he plays the dual rectifier the most ?? Which is slow

    • @sdbdops2364
      @sdbdops2364 6 месяцев назад

      My thoughts exactly, 5150 is too slow but my favorite is a…Dual Rectifier? Both great either way.

      what do you man by slow or fast

    • @dougleydorite
      @dougleydorite 6 месяцев назад +3

      @@escapegulag4317 transient response. How fast it reacts to pick attack. There is an envelope in place in a similar way that compressors have an attack and release only with amps it’s other stuff like “sag” from the tubes.
