‘Axtone Presents’ looks towards the east with its’ latest episode highlighting Russian newcomer, Shapov. Although a new moniker, Shapov’s history with Axtone artist Hard Rock Sofa, has attracted the attention of fans throughout the dance music spectrum due to the quality of productions. Following his self‐titled EP, ‘Party People’ and ‘Disco Tufli’ fully speak for Shapov’s diversity and eagerness to take on the dance music world, leaving his mark as he goes.
Within the podcast, listeners will notice a handful of IDs alongside numerous leftfield tracks, only emphasising Shapov’s creative influences. Refune comrades appear in the form of ‘Sexx’ from Sweden’s Style Of Eye, while Axtone modern classic ‘Arms Around Me’ continues to stand out in 2015.

Imagine a festival, Tomorrowland for example.
It's evening, darkness has set over the mainstage.
The previous set has ended, and the next one has been announced.
It can be Shapov, or perhaps Axwell.
The lights all go out, the only thing shining is the screens of the smartphones in the crowd.
Slowly this ID starts as the intro.
A slow, building alarm kind of sound, together with strobos going from slow to faster, flashing from the left to the right of the stage, on the pace of the beat.
They get faster and faster, and it makes the adrenaline of the crowd pump to incredible heights.
Everybody is screaming in excitement waiting for the drop to come.
A thousand of lights go on in the mainstage as it reaches the drop, and everybody starts raving to 'Shapov ID'.
This track can do serious damage and cause many many shivers !
