is it normal when you give full gas the oil temperature drops? I bought 535xd and I have something like that too. I didint seen anything like this in any of the other cars I've had
I noticed it too, when I think it has to do with the oil water heat exchanger. The car has 2 thermostats and they are not fully open after only 12km of light throttle driving. When I give full throttle, they open and relatively cold water gets into the oil water heat exchanger, and the oil them drops. When I drove more than 25km and only then gave it full throttle the oil temp didn't drop.
@@ThenameisOskar Yes but this is s 2011 one it could be the 299ps version, and in the mcchip video they are two persons and when I remember correctly this was also the 299ps version.
@@csfvideos5681 13ps difference wont make you 4 seconds quicker at 100-200km/h. 14 seconds seems kinda correct for 360-370hp aswell. Yes, in the video of mcchip there were indeed 2 people onboard. The 80kg extra weight wont make it much slower though.
A timeless, elegant and sporty routiere, one of best BMWs ever
@2:10 how fast are these vans o.O
lol yeah 200 welcome to Germany :-D
I miss our 535d - the noise at 3700rpm is so so nice. Replaced that with a 2018 X5M50D
Very nice video, i have 2 questions, what is your average consumption of fuel ? and is your car stage 1 ECU chip ?
For the last 8500km my average is 7,85 liter per 100km.
As far as I know the car is stock.
@@csfvideos5681 Its not, stock times around 17 sec, stage 1 is 13-15 depends on tuner
@@madslundgaard6625 yes I noticed it, I have corrected it in the description box.

Not sure if its stock to be honest.
I think the times are like a stock one?
@@csfvideos5681 Didnt really compare it yet but 14.5 seconds seems quite quick for 1.8 ton car with 313hp.
Ill check it in a bit.

In a video of mcchip-dkr they got 17 seconds for 100-200.
