I’ve got a BMW 640d gran coupe on 185k and it drives like it’s done 60k . Amazing engines!
I used to be afraid of buying private but in reality most 3 month dealer warranties are not great anyway and meeting the actual owner face to face is great and gauging how well they looked after the car. So I have now bought 4/5 my last cars all private and sold my last private also.

Lovey F11 535d. It's a mega daily. Similar mods on mine with intercooler etc. Really does pick it's skirt up and go.
Had two F11’s and one G31 530d’s, always fancied the 535, awesome machines. Best all round car you can buy.👍
Love a 5 series touring and have had a few. Looking at the best ‘all round’ cars you can get, the 5 series touring has to be up there. I’ve got a 520d e61 at the mo with 214k miles on the clock. I would love to replace it with a 535d once it finally gives up the ghost!

I bought a 330d nearly new from BMW about 5 years ago, I remember looking at these at the time and they were a hell of a lot cheaper for some reason, they seem to be a bit niche choice and not as sought after. In terms of the brakes, if he thinks 1k for all 4 doing is bad, try having the M Brembo's, they were 1k for just fronts, and not far off same for the rears.
What a sound bloke, sit and listen to these characters for hours 😂
£1000 for brakes... so glad I can DIY, I've just done mine (same car) for less than half that 😅
I could never find a descent 535d estate so went for the 640d instead. Still a bloody great family car albeit the boots smaller

Why couldn’t the car be washed even a simply £20 valet would do the inside and out …. Instant turn off inside being messy especially makes you question has it been looked after?

My type of car and colour and speck..👌..good price with new Michelin tyres and brakes fitted..allways says a lot about the owner ....well looked after..you.need a good estate on planet of dreams..for the every day man..sport estates all the way..owner of a mondeo st estate for near 12 years...but ready for an update now..😂🙈

Wow these have plummeted in value. I payed 12k for mine in may this year 14 plate and it’s only a 20d
14 is a facelift but yer that is lot. Paid £3800 for my 2023 F11!

I've a remapped 2015 535d, it is absolutely phenomenal and frighteningly fast. On UK roads there's not much it won't keep up with
I have a 435d GC, but it feels slow af when flooring it in gear, at least compared to my old M140i. Would you say the remap made your 5er's power delivery a little more brutal?
@@Arman-nl6mg yeah there's an obvious difference with power delivery right across the rev range. It went from 313HP to 370HP and that was dyno'd. I've had zero engine gremlins since it was done, so I think it is definitely worth considering

I had a 335d and also a330d. Weird but the 330 felt quicker to 30.

About torque. The 330d was RWD and the 335d was X drive.
@CL4SSiCS is it the Rwd?
If so, it would be a lot lighter than the xdrive.
I know it's two turbos vs one but the torque figures are not far from each other.
I had the same and agree with you. I thought the 330d felt more agile whereas the 335d felt more of a grand tourer.

There is no panoramic, head-up display, lane assist, attention assist, etc. These cars in the UK are worthless. Most of them have super high mileage and super high prices, and their depreciation is the same. At least this one has the wide navi.
