A lot of people tend to underestimate Mazda's in general, because they so used to other brands so much, but I always advise them to not turn a blind eye on these Mazda's, because they're so GOOD, I personally would buy this, this looks pretty neat 🔥
I've got one on order !.., albeit it's the 2.5L PHEV, but its the most powerful engine Mazda's ever made ! Can't wait - bring on late November :) ps the test drive was a delight !
People who are complaining bout a Mazda breaching the 1bar mark are still having images of Mazda 323s, slow 626s in their minds. Mazda is doing premium very well these days, for me this Takumi is like a Volvo fitted with a BMW inline 6 diesel with absolutely nothing to tick as an option. Not to mention the unlimited mileage plans and it's a no by brainer where your million should go
@@tyronepaulsen The CX 90 is pretty much a CX 60 but, bigger. Most individuals don’t want a family SUV which is what the CX 90 happens to be. They want a fun SUV. The CX 70 is a let down and a degrade CX 90.
In reality it is the main thing they addressed, particularly rear suspensions got changed to make it less floaty and more composed on bumpy roads and the automatic gear logic now makes sense. Still it is a stiffer drive compared to competitors (seems similar to previous versions of BMW X3 without adaptive suspensions in my opinion) but i think that this is mostly by design so you won’t get Lexus plushness from the CX60 if that is what you are searching for. A current model BMW X3 is for sure a more engaging and well rounded car, no doubts, but there is a case to be made that you will pay much more with the same equipment. It was a shame for Mazda that they clearly released an unfinished product at the beginning and they corrected its flaws only afterward but I fear that, like in software, this is the direction manufacturers are going… release a beta product, make the customers pay for it and then update it later (possibly over the air).
"Lacks the performance you expected ". I don't think anybody expects a Mazda to be quick. They're all slow. 😂 Love this inline 6 and I'd go for it because Lexus has gotten expensive.
@@LehloSeemelathey’re still available on the second hand market though. 😊😊😊 but sadly no “performance cars” at present, who knows what’s next for them. I did see some interesting concepts at the Shanghai Motorshow earlier this year.
You need to give yourself time to work a little harder so that you can buy the BMW that you really want. While you're hard working, allow Mazda to sell it's cars without your negative comments when you can't afford it in the first place.

I agree with you, people made fun of me years back when I owned a Mazda 2, but that little car was awesome. Thanks for watching

That's awesome, here's to many happy miles in your new car.
Brilliant car and awesome review, I’ve been waiting for this ❤
Thank you for watching, yes it’s a really good car

Sigh! I wish we could get the Mazda CX 60 here in the States!
But you guys get the CX 90, which sadly we won't get here in South Africa, thanks for watching.
@@tyronepaulsen The CX90 is too large for my needs, thus, I bought a 2023 Mazda CX50 almost two years ago
@@eleanormassaro5195 wow that's still a nice car, another one we would like to see in South Africa.

Great car well done just the price of Mazda product is problem 🎉🎉
@@borismkhwanazi583 over a million rand for a car is lot of money, but if you compare this car to many others, this is actually quite a deal
the problem with that car is the ride quality
@@tracy062 Really, I actually loved it in this Takumi edition, honestly was one of my favorite cars to drive so far in 2024
