Kids gravitate to complex moves which are rarely used in a game. Body feints or cutting/touching in and out is the 99% that will work without the risk of a more complex move.
Im gonna try the second 1 tomorrow. First one doesn’t only worked well for me, i sometimes managed to dribble past 4 players, body feints gotta be my favorite, but any more tips on dribbling? And for some reason i can’t put that much power in my shot.
@@juicypears5466 when shooting bro, don’t focus so much on the power, land the technique and follow through the path of where you want the ball to go, the power will come naturally bro, and I hope you find this useful 👍

With me I’m very good technically. I can do my job very well but when I play a full game 11v11 or 7v7 I never keep the ball and try dribble past players… I always pass rather than trying to take on the defender which im fully capable of doing. I play in the midfield
@@jonathanfernandez1752 what do you think the solution is. I think I should just gain in game experience as like I said I’m good technically but overall in game it just feels weird and my game isn’t up to the standard which I know I’m capable of
@@marco7838 I think its mainly about not being scared , and staying confident , don’t be afraid to mess up , it’s important to take defenders and dribble because it opens spaces up for other players too . If you have a pass first mentality it can be good and bad , for example iniesta is a pass first guy but he still takes defenders and dribbles to open up space and give even better passes . Play in game more and if the situation seems right to take throw in a body feint or skill move and accelerate, and from there look for the pass or finish , nothing else you got this bro
Funny thing is that I struggle with 1v1 but I can take on 4 players at once. I play midfield and dribbling through the middle is much easier than out in the wing for me. Coaches used to tell me not to do it cause of the risk but I did it so often they never told me anything about it later on
Interesting. So this professionals actually have a plan in this kind of situations. I always thought it’s random. Taking notes to start coaching my son early....he is 4 now ... also taking notes for myself for Sunday soccer :)
Its all about creating a habit, you train certain movements until it becomes automatic to you, for example skilfull players like Ronaldinho trained a lot skill moves in their childhood, first without any opponent then they used it in some street matches with friends and because of that they gained confidence and timing to do this in league games. I guess that if Ronaldinho dribbled at defender he didn't had a plan what skill move he should do, he just looked at the defender analised his body position and automaticly his Brain gave him the right solution to do in this situation. He was better than others because he played more than others when he was younger is as simple as that
"make sure to keep your arm ready to fend off any attacks from the defender" me: punches the defender away, "but i was fending off his attempt at getting to ball"
I had a game once against a team who had Really Really good 1v1 defenders, so their entire strategy was to get isolated and bait the 1v1. Hi. I find your videos really interesting and helpful. I have a 14 yo son that plays football. He plays as a central back or right back. I would love if you can give us some tips on heading skills to help improve his defensive and attacking play. He is quite tall and often jumps higher than the others at corners or high balls, but I would like to see him taking advantage of his height. Can you make a video about HEADING SKILLS for defensive and attacking plays...PLEASE! Hola from New Zealand
First of all I wanna thankyou for putting the video that has helped me to increase my speed and cutting skills and keep on creating videos like because a lot of guys like me are wanting to be a professional football player
However there are 3 styles to dribble around an opponent. 1. A proactive dribbler are only the truly fastest players can dribble around a defender proactively can force mistakes using speed. Which means when the defender is ready and is jockeying and the dribbler must make the first move forward. Therefore the dribbler needs to force the defender in a bad position using his speed. Only a few true dribblers were good at this Ryan Giggs, Ronadlo 9, Arjen Robben, Adama Traore, etc. 2. A passive dribbler that only can past a defender if the defender makes the first move and lunges in or makes a mistake first. Mid fielders are generally good at this as they need to maintain ball possession. Mid fieldiers have the space behind and to both sides of them so it is favored to dribble this style. Such players are Inestia. A good example is Antonio Cassano he was a quite slow player but managed to go around players. 3. Using fakes and tricks even though the position with the ball is inescapable or unpassable the dribbler manages to evade for example using fake passes and fake kicks. Players like this are Eden Hazard and Ronaldiho and Zidane. A dribbler can be a combination of any of these 3. However to achieve number 1 you need speed. The skill set of a proactive dribbler vs a passive dribbler is quite different. Sometimes you see a winger bad at keeping possession.
As a defender if an attacker tries this then always stay side on with your eyes facing the centre of the pitch. If you stay side on then if I they kick the ball past you and run you will already be in a position to accelerate. Face the middle of the pitch so that you will guide them into the middle where your teammates would be. If they are on a counter then dictate the opposition by forcing them to go onto their weak foot (again facing sideways) then delay by blocking the pass the attacker could make. And that’s how you defend😁
This really helped me !!! I play soccer and I love it ⚽️And I’m more of a stricker player and this video help me when I’m on 1 on 1 with the defender !!!!!
I have just two tips for attacking and defending.
Attacking; body feints
