I run a K3 and it really benefited from fitment of a Brembo front brake master cylinder and disc rotors,Venhill braided brake lines front and rear, full Yoshimura tri-oval titanium system,K&N race filter,NGK Iridium R plugs, alloy rear-sets and Michelin pilot power tyres,I wouldn't even consider changing it for a later GSXR 1000.
Yeah I got one shortly after I wrote that post a black one, 8000 miles it came with. I love it hands-down the best gsxr I have ridden. I have not rode any newer one than mine though. I'm not saying it's the best Gixxer it's just The best I have road and my personal favorite I love it
You mentioned that you can swap 1000cc exhaust on the 600cc, I have a k8 gsxr and was wondering what year of the gsxr 1000cc can I do the swap from and the the brands are available?
I didn't know much about the TRE but I'll put that on my list. I'm looking for a K4 as my next bike, black or yellow and grey. As for the modifications, it's basically what you had there. I just wonder if it's interesting to fit wider discs, like up to 320MM. Does it help with brake fading or is more about aesthethics?
What year is that bike the one you have been talking about? Thanks I want that bike I just sold my old k1 750 . I have $11,000 saved and don't want to finance, I have you had any trouble with that bike at all? Thanks for your time I really appreciate it.
Of course unless your hitting the track all of these mods are wasted really , any standard sports bike will deffo be more bike than you are rider as standard, so the best mod is to mod YOURSELF with some decent training on how to ride well. K1/k2 brakes are a bit ropey k3 onwards are fine as standard for road use.
I just got an 03 for stupid cheap in mint mint shape from a guy having a baby. Its piped small exttntion power commander k&n filter . What else can i do to make it faster ? For some what low cost
I ahve l1 750. I'ma goin for full GIannelli and ECU flashing. Just waiting for my paycheck. I have braided hoses but mijor diffrence was with Brembo RCS19 master. I am aiming for the R1 throttle tube.
always wear full gear and yes i agree theres no substitute for experience but that said some of these mods help us enjoy our bikes a little more. the throttle mod is one of my favourite just because i can go full throttle without reaching forward first
so do i need to get the whole throttle assembly off an r1?,i thought those where fly by wire ,is there a specific yr tht i should put on my k3 750 ,is yr k4 turbo a 7? how much an how easy was it to sort cheers buddy
I was wondering if you had any issues mechanically or electrically with the 2008? Thanks a lot I appreciate your response. I'm on the market for a bike now I haven't had one for a week and I don't like to be without a bike I really like the look,of the 2008 and 2009. Thanks again
the 08 had a regulator rectifier issue where the battery wouldn't keep a charge when riding. If you are buying used, ask the owner of the bike if he had fixed the recall issue with this.
Also, if you do have a rec issue, it isn't a huge/expensive job so don't let that stop you from buying this bike. The 08 is by far the best looking gsxr600-750 ever made.
@Tommy Turbo. Hello mate the R1 throttle Mod, is it called 1 x Yamaha YZF R1 (5VY) (04-05) Throttle Cables Set A+B (Push And Pull) ? thats wat i saw on we moto. please let me know
@tommy turbo hey bro. so i got the R1 throttle cables delivered but it came with out the actual tube. is that right? or do i have to buy the tube seperate?
Freddy Granados Leo Vince, akrapovic, Or m4. For a gsxr, Brock’s exhaust or voodoo systems run well also. If you do change exhaust, go with a full system, header back. It removes the set valve, reduces about 10-15 pounds of weight, which is a huge plus, gives you about a 4hp boost, but you will need to remap your fuel/air ratio in turn. I do not recommend a power commander, as it is a short cut and they are known to fail after a while. This can damage your cam and make your bike run lean. Get a full exhaust and have someone tune the bike to that specific exhaust on a dyno. Do NOT put a K/N air filter in your bike. EVER. They suck ass and will damage your throttle bodies and intake manifold. Spend the money and get a good one before tuning to optimize airflow. I have a m4 gP full system, and it makes the perfect amount of pressure without losing any low-end power. It will cost you money but it is a better alternative to any slip on. Slip ons are for squids. Keep in mind however, full exhausts draw a lot of attention, sometimes the wrong kind of attention. Just be chill in town and you’ll be alright.
YO Bro thanks for the vid, much better than what ive seen online so far, Could you do another 2017 update? , thinking of buying a K5, i think The handling of the bike would be the first mob or adjustments etc so any good tips of handling and weightless and good affordable braking systems, then ill look in to performance etc , cheers bro
Lol maybe I should've read your answer before asking the same question again. I'm stupid sorry man awesome though I think I'm going to get one👍🏻 thanks alot
Bright clear thumbnail. Dungeon style video lighting 🙁

Hi u there
Hi thanks going to get tre sounds great also if I cut my can off my k8 will I need to map it? I don’t really like the sound of paying 400 for mod
1) Professionally trained experience2) Full race gear These are the only two mods 99.9% of riders need.
always wear full gear and yes i agree theres no substitute for experience but that said some of these mods help us enjoy our bikes a little more. the throttle mod is one of my favourite just because i can go full throttle without reaching forward first

me personally no but as steve says rec can be an issue and so can the master cylinder

I agree I bought one a week or so after I put that post. I love ❤️ it
do they make a supercharger for the gxsr? i have 2017 750..i would do it if i could find a good one, not sure if i would do turbo
solid info, appreciated.
What year 1000cc manifold do you need for the k8

What full exhaust setup would you suggest for a 2017 GSXR 600 other than the cliché Yoshimura? I’m looking at akrapovic and Austin racing/ SCproject

Any chance you have a link to that thing that makes it think its in 5th gear?
Are you still active on here?

How much faster do you want the bike they're fast enough as it is.
You dont need to mod anything , you know that right?
Is that exhaust Mass ? I got same one but full not just addon... I just uploaded my finished project on my Gsxr 2004... Nice vid !!!
Can I get the link
@@migelwright3919 Click on my profile picture and go to my RUclips chanel... I got Yamaha R1 now...
good video
Two black bikes lol so creative
What the mirrors you got on mate
I couldn’t understand most of what you were saying
i don't know about that now, he has a brit accent but he doesn't studder lol
it's way too dark to see anything
Daylight outside as well
i have a 750, so if i ecu flash and put full exhaust, will it make my gas milage worse? i use it for daily rider
You will sacrifice fuel economy for power gains
Omg I'm sorry it said at the end of your video that it's an 08, so any problems?
+operationjason no problems and now use a k7 which has also worked well so far
Lol maybe I should've read your answer before asking the same question again. I'm stupid sorry man awesome though I think I'm going to get one👍🏻 thanks alot
+operationjason no prob need to know anything feel free to ask. Since this video ive done quite alot more mods with suspension and slipper clutch etc
Hehehehe
