Glad to hear Amanda's perspective, as it adds much to the understanding of this beautiful album. I think she makes a lot of great points here about the circumstances that inspired the songwriting, how the whole band was integral to its creation. And sadly also how the band collapsed after Robert and Grant pretty much forced the issue. And I'm sure they had their reasons/side of the story... I still feel she holds a lot of love and respect for both of them and the legacy of the Go-Betweens though. Class.
The interview seemingly could have been better prepared, in a quieter room with a more focused cameraman though :)

Wow, great interview. And spot on about how the idea of muses is used to push women and their creativity into the background.

I was really blown away by AMANDA's COMMENTS. She speaks so objectively about GRANT and his art (being partly "her" art too...)
