One of my all time favorite drummers. Nice to hear what she thinks.
Just finished Tracey Thorn’s memoir of Lindy ‘My Rock ‘n’ Roll Friend’ which features an interesting dissection of this interview - great to see! I always wanted a girlfriend like Lindy but I wouldn’t be able to hold my own with the chat, like Robert here; I love the way she asks him to help her out 😂
Oh that's why i'm here too.... just looked at 'streets of our town'... er, and here's the interview mentioned in the book. It's a revelation on the band but further to that my local bookstore is getting TT's bio in.... big fan of her voice, what a good writer. The stuff about QLD in 83' was interesting... i was on the Gold-Coast so i know what it's like to be hit around the head with a phonebook by the Polis; the irony was that i was compliant.

She taught me at TAFE back in 2016... but despite that its crazy how those times you could smoke and drink a beer on live tv... looks so cool in those days, but obviously now it isnt but I swear smoking looked so cool back in the 50s althrough the 90s lol

I had her for a Teacher at Ultimo TAFE and she suffers from drug related brain damage. Unfortunately she was attempting to teach Copyright and Royalties and I had to do my own independent research and readings to be able to pass the subject. I would imagine that her demonstrated inability to regulate her behaviour is drug and alcohol related. Fortunately I had already successful course completed a Diploma of Welfare and Community services and got work in high needs mental health. She obviously made a number of poor choices

I love the Go Betweens, but this interview is awful. Don't know and don't care if Lindy or Robert were on drugs - I'd much rather just hear them talk about their music than this silly isht.
