Man, I think the mask looks fantastic even before the glossy finish. The idea you had with those d-rings and leather straps was absolutely insane! It gave the mask that extra "maniac killer" vibe. Congratulations from Brazil! 🇧🇷
Thanks, there’s a few people in the comments making fun of it lol it’s very difficult to make a mask like this with cheap material. Thank you for the support 🇧🇷
Thank you for showing people how a lot of us do this for cheap. It's useful and very very overlooked. You dont need to spend a hundred bucks to make a hundred dollar hock
Thanks, I have a few more coming soon I just been very busy. I have a Jason VS costume and I just finished a part 8 hood. I make all these myself just to prove that you can make them too.
It was part 6 in the teenage Frankenstein scene that i noticed the shape above the eyes that cause a shadow that makes the mask look angry. Looks like a part 8 to me!
I think he does wear some kind of mesh under the eye holes but I never found any article about it. I did that so it can just look like a black void because being able to view the eyes ruins the mask for me. They must’ve filmed him from the perfect angle with the correct lighting to make the eye holes look soulless. Just like pt6 and 7
Been trying forever to figure out what that piece was called in the back of the mask. A good part 8 mask could go for $150-$200 so this looks amazing for a cheap blank
It took forever to find out the name of the back piece. This mask cost around $15-$20 to make maybe. I honestly forgot the cost but it’s way cheaper lol
Yello, I know I’m late, but could I use the putty to make the wholes on my jason mask smaller? Like covering all the holes with putty letting it cure then maybe go back to it with a drill or something to make new smaller holes..(I hope I could drill through it without it breaking/crumbling)
I have never covered them and then drilled new holes but I did mold smaller holes over the larger holes by just packing epoxy putty along the rim of the preexisting holes and smoothing things out with a Dremel. I can’t say whether or not covering them and re-drilling them would work. Honestly I would just test it out on something first to make sure it won’t crack the areas around it.
I used a leather suitcase from the thrift store. It was in my original video but it was too long. You can get the same leather at a craft store for a few bucks. This was a soft leather, I recommend using something a little more stiff.
@@Art.0606 Yea I thought it would work better than say a belt leather because of the kind of distressed look I was going for but I never came around to really distressing it. If you double up the leather they won’t be as floppy.
Bro that looks just like the jdf blank. Beautiful piece.
Thank you. Just trying to prove you don’t need to spend a whole lot of money to have a pretty cool mask. Just takes some time and creativity.

Hi from Russia, Saint Petersburg! Very cool Jason mask👍

Mask looks legit, bro. I know how difficult it is to make things and work with what you have. You did an awesome job.
The JB plastic apoxy works amazing in shaping a cheaper mask
Actully there is no black cover up for the eye holes it’s actully just the darken in Jason face or eyes maybe? But I love it

dude came in with a crazy approach to making these cheap Chinese masks into crazy good replicas and then never uploaded again
The lip around the mask is from the original mask being sculpted around to make it bigger for the makeup and the stunt men
Nice, you turned a few dollars mask into a work of art.
It’s pretty easy you should try to do the same. Cool Halloween costume this year for way cheap

Thank you I am trying to make the part 8 mask
Go for it. Hope you can show us when you’re done.
@@johnjv I just finished my part 8 mask and I made a video of my process
How long and wide should the strap length and width of the Neca Jason ice hockey mask be?
-The ones I have are old and broke, I need a new one
Awesome !

Great work. Do you have a link for the $2 hock?
Great mask!
🤙 Thanks
Does the mask fit pretty good
Where did you get the leather for the straps?

Oh, like that thin thin craft leather?

@@johnjv yeah I got you hah, I’ll try it out and see if it works!
I love you my Jason 😍😍😍
Bad ass bro
Thank you. When I look back on it there’s so many things I would do different now but this was my first part 8 mask so I’m proud of it.
Dang inflation hit the horse things hard found it for 50 dollars at tractor supply
You can prob get them free at some horse stables on some old halters 🤷♂️
