McAvoy was scrapping with Tkachuk the entire game and he’s a big dude. McAvoy is much bigger than I thought he was, 6’1 210lbs, not a small guy, and he’s plays much bigger than 6’1 210. As talented as he is, he loves playing physical,never hesitates to throw his body around, that scrappiness really comes out in the playoffs, he’s not afraid to play the enforcer.

I loved marchands response to Tkachuks cheapshot on Hathaway. Instead of retaliating, marchy looks back at the official to confirm a penalty was called, and we end up scoring on the subsequent powerplay. Marchy has stepped up as a leader in bergerons absence.
It's amazing just how much Marchy and Bergeron have rubbed off on each other. Bergeron went from being a Lady Byng contender to being willing to scrap from time to time, and Marchy learned a lot from Bergeron's discipline. This is really a situation where neither player would be as great without the other one.

TNT idiots all said the whistle blew before the goal and never mentioned the game 3 goal. What do you expect from a team that includes Jean Luc Pierre.
Meanwhile, in the Toronto/Tampa game the exact same thing happened - I mean literally, the puck sitting between the legs of the goalie, NOT covered - Tampa scores and the refs rule they lost site and blew the whistle. Thankfully this doesn't happen too often but it's so inconsistent when it does.

I'm not sure if you saw the play I'm referring to in the Toronto/Tampa game but it was virtually identical to this one. I heard the whistle blow in both cases just as the puck is getting knocked into the net, and in one instance it was allowed and in the other instance it was not. I realize this is an incredibly fast game, but the excuse the whistle blew .5 seconds before the puck entered the net is unacceptable to me, especially since it was clear in the replay the puck was loose.
I gotta admit: Game 2 gave me panic attacks, But these last two games showed me that game 2 was just a freak incident. THIS is how this team plays. Can't wait until we get Bergy and Krecji back. I think Game 5 is gonna clinch the series. Then it's either Toronto or Tampa. LET'S GO, BRUINS!
These games have looked a lot closer for big chunks than a matchup between the team that set the all time wins record and a team that only snuck into the playoffs because the Penguins choked should look. They have spent way too much time (Florida) in the Bruins end.

tkachuk was not a very good teammate in game 4. Cost his team big time. A coach or veteran in the locker room has to be telling him to calm down and stop with the stuff after the whistle. It’s hurting his team. He’s playing like Marchand used to. Marchand has done an awesome job at keeping his head down and being a good teammate.
