Does Egyptian really can't play with barrack units in late game? Most of the time I always see Egyptian players just making migdol units....

As far as i have an insight in this game: 99% u want to rush heroic and play defensive until than as egyptians. Barrack units are ok, but not strong, also u are lacking the good myth units (especially in retold) Ur spearmans are pretty good in retold with their upgrades and stuff. The slingers are.. Idk for me they were quite bad.
Thats probably why they get so much eco boni early game, especially in retold, so they have the ressources to age up fast. Midgol units are way way better
But we will see how this goes if retold releases.

If you go Horus for your mythic age God, your barracks units become pretty good. Osiris or Thoth have heavy focus on Migdols though.
