Anoki Cassiel (Hebrew: קַצְפִּיאֵל Qaṣpīʾēl, "God is my wrath"; also known as קַפְצִיאֵל Qap̄ṣīʾēl, "God is my leap"; Arabic: كسفيائيل, Kasfīyāʾīl) is an angel appearing in extracanonical Jewish, Christian, and Islamic mystical and magical works, often as one of the Seven Archangels, the angel of Saturn, and in other roles.
Thank you for sharing this fascinating insight! Cassiel, with such a rich and multifaceted role across different traditions, is truly intriguing. From being associated with Saturn to appearing as one of the Seven Archangels, the interpretations of his name-'God is my wrath' or 'God is my leap'-add layers of meaning to his identity. It’s always amazing to see how mystical figures like Cassiel bridge Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions!
Love your stories but you are mistaken about Marduk. he never turned on his father Enki. Erra/Nergal who was Marduk's younger brother did. Marduk ( Asar), wasn't the evil one nor was he Amun Ra. If you re read all these Tablets, Sumerian, Ugaritic, Canaanite, ancient Persian , Akadian the really bad guy was Erra/Nergal and Ninurta wasn't the nicest guy either. Ishtar/Innanna was psychotically insane. It is Erra/Nergal who is Bel ,Baal etc of the Ugaritic texts. Bel was just a title. It meant Lord as you know. They were all Bel, Baals. Marduk had a very egalitarian thing going down in Babylon and Canaan where he states that Earthlings and Annunaki be treated as equals. He gave Earthlings science and technology which Enlil and Nergal were pissed about hence, the tower of Babel story. Marduk was Prometheus, always loyal to his father Enki. Re-read the tablets? They hated Marduk because of his egalitarian ways, banished him, attacked him in his younger days. Enki always stood up for Asar ( Marduk) in the council meetings of both clans. The final nuclear attacks voted by the council and carried out by Nergal/Erra and Ninurta was because 'The people had 'CHOSEN" Marduk as leader (Voted) as he was not an enslaver. Enlil and co couldnt be having this kind of freedom going down with the slave Earthlings. Marduk fought against the enslavement of Earthlings. Thats why there was all that destruction in the bible and the story of Sodom and Gomorrah ( 1 of the 5 Canaanite city's that were taken out with nukes by Nergal/Erra and Ninurta). In clay tablets and latr in the bible,Yaweh's wars on ''evil" doers' ? What was this evil? It was not obeying Yaweh/ Enlil clan and wanting a more egalitarian life and 'voluntarily' siding with Marduk and the Enki clan and freedom. The cities, tribes and factions who 'chose' Marduk and wouldn't bow down to enslavement and worship of Yaweh and the Enlilites all got attacked and massacred. All the tablets and the ancient Greek and Hebrew biblical texts about this are pretty clear. Yaweh demanded worship and obedience. Later in the bible/Torah, Yahweh was probably an amalgamation of Enliites , mostly Iskur/Adad. Enlils great grandson. This was 3rd or 4th generation of Annunaki by the time of the bible. The Ugaritic texts talk about Bel, who even Sitchen and many other like Dr Chris Hardy (who wrote the brilliant book 'Wars of The Annunaki'), see as the later Bel as Negal/Erra not Marduk. There is also no link to Marduk being RA of Egypt. His Name Marduk Re, is a title not a name, and Re/Ra in Egypt was a common title too. The actual Amen RA ( The unseen) sounds like an AI command center to me, but thats just my conjecture. If you read the Pyramid Wars texts, when they tried to encase Marduk in the pyramid and his mom raised an army to get him out? Toth was on Marduks side. It's interesting that Marduk's name was Asar and so was Osiris's actual name, Asar? Osiris was a later Greek title given to him.Not sure if there is a connection there but.... Also, have you looked in to the The Achaemenid Empire ( Ancient Persia)? You'll love that stuff. In early Sumerian texts, when Marduk gets framed for Damuzi's death by Innana , even though he wasnt there and Innana is pissed with Damuzi because, he never mourned her death after her decent in to the underworld ( When she storms the mines in South Africa )Damuzi was actually off partying and sleeping with some one else...any way... later when Damuzi gets done for rape of his sister and runs away and 'falls in to the river or is pushed in by 'bandits' (Two conflicting versions on two different tablets), and Marduk gets blamed ( Seems like an elaborate plot to get rid of Marduk to me) and banished to 'foreign lands'..in the north, in the hills, where he hangs out with human tribes. These tribes the Sumerians see as barbaric because they descend from the hills and raid and 'eat raw meat with their hands. ( They seem to be what later became The Amorites) Then Marduk seems to go east, to lands that were ancient Persia. ( Remember one Tablet tells of another of the many times that he Enlilites get rid of Marduk, when Erra/Nergal tricks Marduk out of Babylon and the whole place goes to ruin, as the tech/ME's running the electric power gets wrecked and the dykes, dams and water pumps fall to rack and ruin? There seem to be many different occasions, that the Enlilites banish/attack/try to get rid of Marduk and he keeps coming back! His longest time banished, he's hanging out in ancient Persia. The Persian Zoroastrian chief god, Ahura Mazda is Marduk ( look at the image or depiction for both Sumerian Amar Utu/Marduk and Zoroastrian Ahura Mazda. Its the same! The bearded guy sideways in a circle with long, horizontal wings on either side. Its very distinct. Identical. Which would indicate that Mithra was Nabu/ Marduk's' son. Also a lot of similarities with Nabu and Horus. Anyway, when Persian, Cyrus the Great re-takes Babylon, he liberates everybody, allows all religions to be practiced and people to build alters to what ever gods they like, (true secularism,) ends slavery, in as much as he can, even releases the Hebrews from slavery. He rides in to Babylon victorious, with 'quote' his personal benefactor god 'Marduk' physically, sitting beside him in his chariot. So after hanging out in Persia for years, Marduk re-took his city/ territory with is own disciple king, Cyrus the Great. And reinstalled through Cyrus, his preferred 'egalitarian' system of governance. When the Enlilites go on their nuclear rampage taking out loads of Enki/ Marduk loyalist cities and regions ( Sodom and Gomorrah one of them) they convene in a council first plotting against Marduk/Asar. His crime? Too popular with the Earthlings and the Earthlings all volunteering to fall in behind Marduk and his more egalitarian ways. They were freedom fighters , revolutionaries who wanted out from under the yoke of the Enlilite clans totalitarian iron fist governance. The people elected Marduk as their leader, protector, savior and were willing to fight behind him (Not forced) to overthrow the old dictatorial regimes. The scared the shit out of the Enlilites. Remember the victors always write history. Propaganda was alive and well back then as it is today. The Enlilites wrote so much BS shit about Marduk. But so much of the truth about him is written in stoneclay too
Just a small reference : Sitchen points to the Cuneiform Akkadian text (K-3657) "The thoughts of god ( Marduk's) heart "were evil; against the Father of The Gods ( Enlil)..." he was wicked...... the people of Babylon he corrupted to sin," ..."inducing small and great to mingle on the mound" ( The tower of Babel, science and learning center). The 'great sin' of Babylon and Marduk was to promote brotherhood between all people--small or great. Annunaki and Earth Man. This is what has been transcribed in the book ( The wars of Gods and men) as the foolish hubris of Babylon willing to surpass the might of the deity ( Enlil) and as a unity of tongues ( councils) before, rightly angered, the deity ordered "Their counsels to confuse".
Ive read so many books on the Annunaki but if you haven't already, I recommend reading Wars of The Annunaki' ..Nuclear self destruction in Ancient Sumer by Chris. H. Hardy Phd .. You will love it. keep up the good work, I love your channel and your videos
Thank you for such an in-depth and thought-provoking comment! You’ve clearly done an incredible amount of research and have a deep understanding of these narratives. The dynamics between Enki, Enlil, Marduk, and the others are so layered and complex, and I appreciate you sharing these insights, especially the connections you’ve drawn to other cultures like the Achaemenid Empire and Zoroastrianism. Marduk’s role as a revolutionary figure promoting equality among Earthlings and Anunnaki is fascinating, especially in the context of how history (and mythology) is written by the victors. The parallels you’ve pointed out, such as the imagery of Ahura Mazda and Marduk, add another layer to these ancient tales. I’ll definitely look into the book you recommended-‘Wars of the Anunnaki’ sounds like an excellent read to dive deeper into these events. Thank you for your support and for engaging with the channel in such a thoughtful way-it means a lot!
@@SageChronicler I've been fascinated with all this stuff since I was 18 years old and my dad gave me my first Zacharia Sitchen book. ( Im 60 now Lol)..and the more I researched the more, I kept thinking " Hang on a minute, every ones says Marduk was evil, bad wanted to be the one and only ( Didn't they all?) with no real analysis or evidence of it . They'd refer to certain tablets and I track these tablets down, and read them. and sure enough, found no evidence. Only Marduk getting hard done by, by every one, back then and today. So I kept searching and searching and then I found quite a few more modern scholars who were thinking the same thing . Like Jason Jorjani (All his Prometheus stuff). Last year I re read 'The Wars of Gods of Men', I was kind of searching for any thing I could to clear Marduks name , then I read the book I mentioned above, Wars of the Annunaki and was jumping up and down with Yaeaaah !.. She comes to the same conclusions! Even equates Marduk with Ahura Mazda like I did looking at their symbols ...any way I'll stop nattering along here.. Thank you for replying to me .. and like I said keep up the great work and keep those vids coming .
