    About Sheepdog Response:
    Sheepdog Response was founded by Green Beret, Special Forces, Sniper, and former top 5 UFC Middleweight, Tim Kennedy. Tim was also the co-star of Hunting Hitler on the History Channel, and more recently, Hard To Kill, on the Discovery Channel.
    People face threats of violence every day, ranging from large-scale terrorism to one-on-one assaults. Most people are unprepared, unequipped, and untrained to respond effectively. This weakness in the flock allows the wolves to attack with great ease and success.
    The answer is not more laws. The wolves don’t follow them. We must give the good guys the tools they need to effectively respond to violence. The more Sheepdogs we can train to be truly ready to respond to a mass shooting, terrorist attack, violent mugging or home invasion, the better the chances are that the bad guys will get what they deserve and the good guys will survive. Most people sign up for martial arts or weapons training expecting to learn realistic self-defense, and few get it…
    We have developed a curriculum that addresses the skills you need to successfully respond to threats

    5’6” dude that wrestled in highschool and has very light MMA training. 125lbs... yeah size does honestly make a difference. I can’t wrestle 300lbs but I can out maneuver 300lbs. I can’t strike much harder than the average person (I will not knock you out) but I can land fifty of those hits in very quick succession to places all around your body.
    But the greatest thing I have at my disposal is my words, drunk angry man wants to brawl just because I’m tiny... well guess what buddy I’m buying you beer and gonna tell you straight up you are gonna kill me I just know it and I’m not pretty to begin with, I don’t need you making it worse...and I got drunk buddy for the evening after that.
    Won’t always work, but thank god I have friends that tower over my tiny ass and gladly step the fuck in on my behalf.

    What I find best facing a larger opponent if need be, is to bottleneck your surroundings to limit a larger threats field of motion, thus giving you a slight advantage to dictate how and where a confrontation happens.
    If you're ever attacked by baseball bats lets say, get in a hallway or close doors to limit their motion. THIS IS NOT A WIN ALL SOLUTION BUT SOMETHING TO CONSIDER.

    • @brandonovich6063
      @brandonovich6063 4 года назад

      @RPG 808 you understand he's teaching it and explaining simply in this small clip? In many cases grappling a person gets you massive control over them and is a very necessary skill for law enforcement, self defense etc. Most of being taught to fight on the ground is for when you have no choice and are forced to it, you need to be taught the right entries and controlling techniques.

    • @brandonovich6063
      @brandonovich6063 4 года назад

      @RPG 808 I've literally been assaulted on the street and my grappling experience was the winning factor, how does it never happen on the street? If you fight multiple opponents in any case you could get "stabbed in the back" even with your superb "blind and finish" super skills.. lmao

    • @brandonovich6063
      @brandonovich6063 4 года назад

      @RPG 808 you're arguing some strange things. Grappling is not just ground fighting. You talk in absolutes, which makes me think you are a liar. No one actually experienced will talk in absolutes when it comes to fighting. You've moved your goalposts yet again to be specifically ground fighting, but learning to fight on the ground is not because we want to be there, it's insurance if you go there, you know what to do. Tim has mentioned this aswell, but I'm sure you lied about following his videos too (as you continue to argue against points he never made) yes, call me a child and run away, you've made no legitimate points you just talk broadly like "yes yes everyone knows this and I just blind people and finish them" you're living in a fantasy land when it comes to actual fighting.

    • @brandonovich6063
      @brandonovich6063 4 года назад

      @RPG 808 why does where I train matter? Either you can refute my point, or you can't. It seems, you can't

And develop a class for veterans who have gave up parts of themselves the last two decades. As well as citizens that want to defend themselves, you only shoot when you absolutely have to. Sorry if your idea of just having a gun and using it all the time just isn’t practical.
