I pre-ordered the non gorilla glass glossy version of this monitor the day it went on sale. After waiting over a year and still getting nothing even tho it was supposedly shipping out to new customers I decided to get a refund. It's been about another 7 or 8 months and I still have no refund or monitor. I would highly recommend only buying their monitors when it's in stock from a 3rd party like B&H. Never pre-order anything or directly order anything from Dough.
I would recommend the same thing. Too many complaints for it to be a coincidence or a one off. That said, I think Dough is aware, hence working with distributers like B&H to fix the problem. It's unfortunate to take this reputation hit because the end product is very impressive, especially given how it was brought to fruition.
Gotta say, love the look of the video. The background colors, the window shade reflection effect, the humor, and the shifting between the product and Jeff on the mic is top notch.

I like the thin bezels. For external monitors, I want to be able to switch to a portrait display. Lots of monitors look lopsided when you do that because they have a thicker bezel along the bottom.

i would buy this, if they brought out a 5K version of it so i can run it at 1440p in retina mode, i do not relish going back to 1080p even if it's retina 1080p. or better yet, they should make a 32 inch 6K version of this like the pro xdr from apple!

Both have glare, one is concentrated and another is diffused, both can be distracting, but that depends on your use case. If you value colour accuracy, vibrancy and sharpness matte won’t cut it.

Yep, for gaming, it doesn't matter much, but it's noticeable when it comes to productivity for sure. 4K can still work, and if it was the only option, I'd be fine with it, but it will take some adjusting if you're used to 5K.

Yeah most monitors go for the thinnest bezel possible at the expense of even bezels. I prefer even bezels even if they are little thicker

The ASUS PA279CRV for like £500 is better than the studio display and I've got that profiled to a deltaE of less than 1.
