I wish more Kickstarters would include an actual guide to what all the stretch-goal pieces are and how to use them. There are games I've backed where I can't even tell whether I've received everything that was promised...
After opening both paper envelopes, the stretch goal box, and popping all the chits out I'm looking forward to a foamcore plan I can follow from you guys. I've built all of them for the games I have and they make it so much more playable.
I've played it once, but it was mainly just getting our heads around the rules, many of which are scattered through the book of scripts, which is a strange decision. However I'll be doing a summary soon. Very grim and we only lasted a few days, but I'm loking forward to giving it another go!
The game looks great but I've heard a lot of people complain that it's too random to the point where you have very little control of anything. I'm gonna try to borrow this somehow before buying it.
Most things are controlled by card draw, so yes, it is very random. If that bothers you I'd probably say this isn't the game for you. It's not a strategic resource management game: though you do get and control resources to survive, you're trying to survive what the game randomly throws at you.
Looking forward to getting my copy of this. I was a winner in a competition for a copy of the game with a miniature and player card of me :) - I had to submit photo's of myself for it. Really looking forward to seeing the finished product now I have seen what a great production this is :)
Wow, just wow! When I first saw the pc game I was mildly interested. I ultimately decided against buying the pc version of the game because the premise felt like it would get old fast. After seeing this unboxing of the board game version I'm very excited. I want this game because it looks like it would make for a fantastic experience to share with a group of friends with some food and beer! thank you for this video because I would never have known about this game. 😁
@@EsotericOrderGamers I bought this on steam and my brother too As it's very well reviewed and we got all the expansions or whatever they are, but we thought it was an implementation of the board game and now we are not happy and steam after seven days says you can't have your money back. well this has been on my list to get and another great opening video not making my life any easier.

I need to add more foamcore plans to the site, but it's quite time consuming to make those plans. I'll see what I can do however.

The iPad version of the game is very good, but give me a board game any day! :)
