Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment! Wow, you're too kind. As a small youtuber, comments like this really encourage me and keep me going 💗
Thank you so much! This comment means so much to me. It definitely made my day 🥰 I just used acrylic paints from Michaels, then sealed it with Mod Podge. Have fun with air dry clay! 💗
Your pieces are very pretty and your tutorials are excellent. Is it a silicone mat? It seems the clay doesn’t stick to it when you remove it. Thanks in advance.
Hi Helena! Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, it’s a silicone baking mat actually. I liked that it came with a rolling pin that can adjust the thickness :) Thank you for stopping by my channel!
@@joolieshome I saw the rolling pin and the mat on Amazon via your link but the description didn’t mention the material of the mat. On the other hand it mentioned that the rolling pin tends to get rusty which is its downside. I had never seen one in metal which is interesting. The kind of metal spatula looks quite helpful too, but it doesn’t come with the tools kit. Do you by chance have a reference please? Thank you for responding. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
oh I see what you mean. Sorry for the confusion- The mat has a non stick surface that feels like silicone, but I'm not 100% sure what the material is. The metal tool I used is actually a dough cutter/scraper. Similar one from amazon is (amzn.to/3FP31Oo). I purchased mine from a local Japanese dollar store. Hope that helps :)
Thank you so much for watching! Sorry, I forgot to list the mat, but I've added the product in the description now :) And for the paper, you can use any parchment or wax paper. I can link one as well :)
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! hmmm, i haven't tried daiso air dry clay. Unfortunately, we dont have daiso in Toronto, but I'm sure it would work the same if it's labelled air dry clay. I'd recommend following the package details :) 💗
Olá! Infelizmente, eles não são seguros para alimentos :( Eles também não são à prova d'água, então você não pode submergi-los na água. Muito obrigado por assistir :)
Hi Joolie ! So happy to have found your videos ! So soothing and creative. I'm trying out jesmonite and I want to make my own molds. Do you know if I can use air dry clay to make the shape I want then once it's cured use silicon mold making material ? Thanks and all the best
Hi Raissa! So glad you found me. Welcome to my channel 😊 That's crazy because I was thinking of trying that too! I think it'll work, but I'd seal the whole clay shape/figure to make it water resistant. It should hold up until the silicon hardens. This is so exciting, if you try it before I do, let me know if it works!
@@mic8222 I was able to remove it before it fully dried, but just to be safe, I'd put cling wrap or parchment paper under the clay so you can lift it off the plate. My friend left Crayola air dry clay directly on the plate and it cracked :(
oh no! That's happened to me a few times with the Crayola brand. I think if you're making smaller trays, Crayola air dry clay is ok to use, but if you're attempting larger trays, try the DAS brand. It's never cracked on me yet! Also if it didnt shatter into a lot of pieces, you can try gluing it together. Hope that helps!

Thank you for watching! Yes, I just used acrylic paint from Michaels :)
these are all so prettyy!! I love them sm good job!
I have a question: can we lay the clay on a parchment paper or is it better on wax paper?
yayyy! glad you like themmm :) yes, you can def use parchment paper. Basically anything that will keep the clay from sticking to your table 💗

Hi can i ask do you really need to sand paper it? I’m planing to open my shop where i sell air dry clays
No, I don't think you need to sand the clay, I just like the smooth surface area to paint :) Cool, I'd love to see your clay pieces!
Do u have a Instagram that show all these beautiful air dry clay products?
I should make an account lol I will work on that and add it to the description :) Thank you for watchinggg 💗
@@joolieshome can I ask, for the purple plate, is it when the clay is dry, you are able to remove it from the plate itself?

@@joolieshome thank you for the advice!!! :)) looking forward to more of ur airdry clay ideas!:)
@@mic8222 anytime! yayyy, I'll work on some more air dry clay projects! :)
Do we have to bake the clay or just leave the clay for one day? 💗💗💗
You can leave the clay to air dry for a day or two. Sometimes it takes longer depending on the thickness of the clay. Thank you so much for watching!
Where is the purple flower plate from?🤩
ohhhh, the "petit cadeau" plate is from oomomo. It's a Japanese dollar store in Canada, similar to Daiso. I love using it for baked goods
Can you pls do foam air dry clay tray
That sounds interesting! I will def look it up and see what I can do :)

Hi! May I know what slip consist of?
Hi! Thank you for watching :) I just use clay and water and mix it up until it becomes a thick paste.
Are they water proof?
no they aren't, but if you seal them they do repel water. I just wouldn't submerge them under water. Thanks for watching :)
Can the clay touch on water?
the sealer makes the clay water resistant, but unfortunately, it's not waterproof :(
Which paint did u use
This is acrylic paint :)
Das 와 Crayola 차이점이 있나요?
네, 차이가 있습니다. Crayola 점토는 갈라지고 부서지기 쉽습니다. DAS 점토가 훨씬 좋아요~
