You don't have to worry about anything 😉 You can just play F major over Am. But if you consciously intend to work out the Phrygian sound, it is not unimportant to understand what constitutes the sound of the mode, what the essential notes are. By the way, the main part of this video is about how to express the Phrygian sound clearly in chords. Am alone makes no statement in this regard.
Hi Master Your teaching skills are marvelous 😢 but your video quality feels like really low quailty, sometimes that will depends whether people will view the video or not, In future Hope everything works out well.
@@BenjaminSchippritt hi check out the video for color grading and I think your video has lot of exposure in background even the wall behind you is unnoticeable and colors looks more like vintage but I do like old school vibe, but for newer generation they don't like those anyways nice talking to you have great day my friend... 😇
Great informative lesson, cheers!
You are an excellent teacher. Your explanation really brings across what the modes are about.
Great series this is! Playing the scale is one thing, but creating a modal chord progression is another. This makes it so simple, a real eye opener 👍
Hi Benjamin this is the best learning videos on the modes that I have seen very well explained
Geez i have so much to learn. Thanks for making this video!
GutesVideo, ich habe es auch mit bB maj7 und c7 probiert, danke für die Anregung

So just think F maj scale over Am. Why worry about what mode it is?

Thanx for your feedback. What exactly feels low for you, the sharpness, colors, contrast...?
