Hi.. rav 4 2020 hybrid system released in UAE seems different. It has miracast option which does not allow to play while driving. Have any idea how it will work while driving?
Actually, no. I have a bog standard 2021 Toyota H-CR (Entry level/base model Tech/trim and engine) and it has Miracast built in to the Multimedia system. All you do is push the physical button labeled "Audio" to the left of the touch screen, then select "source" on screen, then select "miracast". Have your phone ready as It will immediately start searching for phones, so swipe down your phone notifications panel, make sure WiFi is switched on and enable wireless projecton/screen mirroring. When your phone finds the car, select it, then confirm on the cars touch screen, and vola, your phones display will now be displayed on the car touch screen and you can watch RUclips, Netflix, whatever you like. Only restriction is that it will not display video when the car is in motion, you must be parked otherwise it will only cast the audio. Enjoy

Android will work wirelessly whereas iPhone will have to be wired. We haven’t tested the product with overseas vehicles yet
Great idea, any reason why your website doesn't list the Sienna (I just bought a 2019) any reason why it won't work?
We need to add a separate external switch for the Sienna as the signals from the steering wheel doesn’t initiate the switch

It will keep mirroring if you’re playing a video and phone goes into airplay mode. Otherwise mirroring will stop

where does one get the JBL head unit? the rav4s don't come with that
Factory equipped JBL head units are factory equipped options from Toyota. You can select it when you buy your car from toyota
