I recently injured my shoulder so I had to take a break from calisthenics. Since I had all this time and motivation left I started Beatboxing a few month ago. I started learning the kick, snare and some throat and vibration bass. I practiced so much vibration bass until I couldn't do it anymore. I needed a new basssound - and thus, I started to pursue the inward LIPROLL

I know I can still improve as there are soo many sick variations to learn additionally.
However If I wanted to show my absolute best I believe this video would never end.
So after 150 days I stopped recording and also took a break. My chest/trachea/muscles that move the adams apple/muscles that contract the diaphragm (whatever) started to hurt a bit after I practiced clickroll and zipper too much. We'll see when I get better, perhaps I'll upload another video for another sound then!

my inward sub bass is pretty good, but i cant do hollows or anything yet

i just learn poh snare in 2 weeks and 1 month for vibration bass but vibration bass is toture for.my throat bcs it literally destroyed my throat 😂

I learned liproll by putting meaty part of palm on the hole to feel the vibration, then proceeded without the palm. Exact same reaction as 2:06 lmao
(interesting story tho, teeth liproll which frequently used by dlow is what I learned first while learning liproll. Its a lucky bonus

good video really fun to see the progression of the sound ! For me since it's the first sound i learnt i could say i'm beyond day 150 since it's the root of all my current beat and maybe the only sound I consider mastering even tho I have still a lot to learn and master in this specific sound

Really cool to see your progression. Took me 6 months too! I've been practicing on the other side of my mouth but it's almost impossible, like my muscles have locked up after 5 years liprolling on one side!

I never had to actually learn the liproll since I knew it since forever and imitating Napom and Ball Zee was a piece of cake since first heard them do it.
But this video makes me realize I give liprolls for granted way too much.

when i still know the moment i got it the first time to sound like an actual liproll like you on day 8, i was so stoked. i kept learning it for a month but completely stopped to learn beatboxing because friends and family got annoyed :/ but since two weeks i got motivated again and already learned the spit snare :) sadly my lip roll is not that nice at it was before

the hollow liproll took me maybe 3 days or 1 week ? but the inward liproll took me a minute then i can do inward liproll with ( yoi sound ) or maybe a deep one

I can do liprolls like really well on my right side but not even nearly on my left side so this makes me wanna learn em on my left side.
I remember it took me 4 months to learn liprolls, back in 2018. I have now been beatboxing for 4 years and i still can't do Throat bass SADGE.

i can only do standard short roll, cant seem to make much progress when doing a long or low pitched roll. im stuck but ill keep practicing like you did

i do my liprolls outward , people call it lip oscillation but the texture is better than inward liprolls and pitching them with voice is also easy , i wish i could have shown or might post a video because people would call it fake or something else *teehee* . But my guy props to you for getting that

I learned lip roll like over 2 months and never got it but now i am a master of lip roll one of the easiest sound for me XD (tipp you are doing the kick wrong the kick is without pushing air into your mout)
As someone who knows pretty much all the liprolls i appreciate of this

Yeah, it happens some people learn some sounds easily but other sounds very difficult
i start praticing liproll about a month and i still have not fully master it

Damn it took me 2 years
One thing to note here: you DON'T need to practice every single day to learn the liproll. How I learned the basic liproll is with enough resting and taking the time off to apply what I was trying to do. So don't feel bad for taking some time off with it, just remember to get back to it after a short while and you'll be in great position to do the liproll.
Bro, I can do the hollow lip roll I believe. the one napom spams in ‘You can’t roll like this’, but I can’t get that really deep bassy inward one like you
yo thats so interesting. Maybe it's because I'm mainly using my lower lip. And it's rather "behind" the upper one.
