“Sheesssshh” that took me out! Great vid king. There was just one thing I wanna question on is the turn where Shine declared an attack but was under Kongou and BT13 Alphamon effect. He wouldn’t be able to declare an attack as he can’t attack a Digimon so he wouldn’t of been able to suspend to be swung over. Outcome of the match could’ve been different unless Alphamon was going into the LV7.
Yeah I totally thought the same thing, we realised after the fact. They did indeed have an ouryuken in hand to clear it. To be honest, even without the floodgate... I don't understand the value of swinging in that sitch 😭😭
2:17 why did he get to attack still anyway? Was there a shinegrey effect I missed? You even mention that he shouldn't get the swing because he is over 10 play cost. With the addition of kongou even a Marcus wouldnt have been able to swing.
Not Thomas, but BT12 Marcus was limited to 1 in the August-September Ultimate cup format. I actually wrote an article about it when the news dropped :) www.esports.net/news/digimon-ban-list-august-2023/
Dp reduction would kill it again right after the bottom deck since the reduction would still be there. I guess it'd save 1 card from going to trash but otherwise not much point. Alpha doesn't mind having stuff in trash
@@danimator8909 Alpha, XAnti Inhert warp into Ouryuken -> DoruGrey load a sword end of attack, end of turn bring back mem gauge, you're right about the 3 cost warp though. I'm also not fully 100% on the Ouryumon timings though.
@@spider-manjonez8987 yeah defo no ouryu there so should have been a full cost oof, I think the sword misses the timing too. Not the cleanest, kinda rare fumble on their part

I think the reason for yellow mem boost over red is for the people who tech in ruin mode - that way it can be searched.

The alphamon player didnt have a ouryumon in the stack so they should have digivolved for 7 and shouldnt have restand.
