- First time on the island with the car, so still getting to grips on how it performs over the mountain. It’s hard to get consistent clean runs over there whilst being cautious of other drivers/riders.

Do you have any information about how/when you are able to take cars around without restrictions?
The TT fortnight, usually back end of may to enjoy the full mountain road de restricted 1 way. It’s de restricted all year round just not 1 way

I'm surprised how slow this was. I've seen some vids of bike guys on you tube hitting 185mph and they seem to have more speed thro the sweepers. Mind you compare those amateur skilled riders to the TT riders and they'd be coming past you like you're stood still. Makes you appreciate their skill and knowledge.
Another thing is, do you got tips on refining driving and judgement skills?
Lastly if I got it right, you can do this once a year?

I talked to Jack at the pub after this where he was having half a shandy and he told me there isn't a crotch rocket on the island that could keep up with him. Awesome driving well done

Superb driving, but I do think they need to do something to stop caravans and bikes doing 30-50 being on the track at the same time as M2s doing 150. It ain't a wide racing circuit. I'd like to do this but wouldn't be going over 100 and wouldn't want this thing to come past me.

Pretty irresponsible to let caravans and cyclists on the track while there's people doing speedruns. 200+kph doesn't match well with others doing 30.

Yep, no problem doing the whole no limit one way do what you like thing, but surely allowing 20mph cyclists and campers through is just idiotic.

You’re obviously completely oblivious to the rules here.
This is on the Isle of Man. This section of road is a derestricted road, and during the IOMTT week is a one way road. Everything in this road is completely legal and actually rather responsible.
As well as some absolutely incredible driving.
