I'm so excited to go!! Do u think it will be like this during August? I was thinking of going during that time! Which hotel did you stay at? What was the name of your hotel?
I think it will definitely be much busier in August, not going to lie! One of the marvelous things about Madeira is that it has decent weather all year round (we went in April and swam in the ocean) so I would actually recommend the April-June or September-October months more! If you can that is. I found hotels and such to be much more affordable during that time as well. Have the best time! Hotel name: Jardins D'Ajuda
@@samuellabassey it’s definitely going to be chilly in December. It won’t be crazy cold, but you might need a Jean jacket or sweater. It’s hard to tell because every winter there is so different!
I want to say around 500-600€ (hotel, flight, activities, and meals for two). We did go in April (off-season) and flights were from Lisbon (close by) so please do factor this in. Overall, I'd say it's not a very expensive destination so long as you're not too fancy 😂
@@SofiaAbrantes Bolo do Caco is traditionally eaten warm with garlic and parsley butter. You can also get pao com chouriço which is also very popular. They do make prego with Bolo do Caco as well

Bolo do caco does not have meat in it
Bolo do Caco is the name of the bread, the sandwiches that are made with it vary. The most common/traditional one is the "Prego", which is with meat
